MLB Chrome Automobile Emblem

Bought this a while back and forgot i never left a review. PIECE OF GARBAGE. "Chrome" look faded to a dirty grey in less than a week and fell off after less than 2. I customize cars for a living and this was something the customer was adamant about. I used Prepsol on the trunk beforehand, which was a COMPLETELY flat surface. Used a heat gun on "low" on the adhesive. Vehicle was in 85° weather and heated it a little anyway. Applied and pressed it in place while i watched a you tube video for over a minute. Still came off. P.O.S.

One little double sided tape strip might hold it for a while. No big deal, I’ll put my own real 3M tape on it. Made of plastic, looks cheap and probably will not hold up for long. I’ll update in a few months to show it. I guess I’m paying the Steinbrenner family to be a fan of their team cause this piece of plastic isn’t worth $1 let alone $9. Can’t return after less than 3 weeks.

I put this on my fathers head stone. His life revolved around the Yankees and I thought this was a fitting tribute. Unfortunately, he is in a veterans cemetery and I am afraid they will remove it. I put it on for Fathers Day, so it was the thought that counted.

Was so excited to get two Chief Wahoo emblems for each of our vehicles. Opened the box and BOOM, disappointment. It's a horrible Upper Case Letter "C" NOT CHIEF WAHOO as pictured. Tossed them back in the box and sealed it up for immediate return. If I wanted a nondescript "C" I would have ordered that ( not that I would have ever wanted it). Correct your product description or you are going to have countless angry Cleveland INDIANS fans, Cleveland C fans might like the product but I doubt it.

I completely cleaned the surface before adhering... well, by the title on this review, I’m sure you can guess what happened. A little bit of time in the sun and it was lying in the parking lot when I returned. Amazon even says its non-returnable. So, it felt like I lot my own cash on fire and watched it burn.

The chrome paint (I guess thats what it is?) came off in a HURRY. I haven't even scrubbed it. Basically, now I have a black NY on my car. Edit (4-23-2016) I went to Walmart and got some "chrome" paint in a pen and used it to repaint the emblem. It finally looks like it was supposed to look in the beginning. Pretty sad the original "chrome" (pfft as chrome as I am a frog) didnt even last a year before it completely came off.

Just a simple 3M adhesive sticker on the back and pop it onto the back of your vehicle (or anywhere you’d like it) and you’re good to go! Have had multiple car washes and it’s still stuck on there great! May have to upgrade it to a magnet here in the future, but that’s an easy fix!

This is a nice emblem but I put it on my sliding back window of my truck which was not a good idea because it prevented my window from opening so I had to take it off. I gave it away and purchased a similar flat emblem
