What is the application of a RPB unit that dumps water and the units that do not dump water if both are no lead?

Hello, You'll have to inquire with your local water authority as to which ones will pass inspection in your area. Lead vs lead free has nothing to do with them being an RPZ (vents water) or a double check (doesn't vent water). Thank you

Does this come with a certification document saying that it has passed a pressure test?

I believe these devices have to be put in service and then get tested. In Chicago area the test and certification cost around $100 to $140 which is good for a 6 months to year.

No this is not Lead Free. Only a few states require Lead Free for all devices including potable and non-potable installations. Some of those states are CA and MD. All states require Lead Free in potable drinking water installations but almost all states (except the 2 listed plus any other you may find doing your own research) still find it perfectly acceptable to use standard devises in non potable systems like fire lines and irrigation. These non lead free devises are still sold, installed and inspected by the hundreds every month.Please be sure to do your own research and contact your local authority to find out which type of device is called for in your area.Thank you
