I had previously bought a cheap griddle pan from Amazon (one of those copper colored things) that warped badly after only a couple of uses making pancakes. Frankly, I'd bought it as an experiment to see if a super cheap pan would be OK. Well, now I know that it is possible to go too cheap :-) After a considerable amount of research, and reading reviews on pans at every price point, I decided to go with this OXO pan. By and large, the reviews on this pan are favorable, and of course OXO is a well known brand, so I pulled the trigger and bought one. As soon as I unboxed it, I compared this pan to my old, warped one. The OXO is a good 3mm thicker than the old pan, and its handle is nicer to hold and feels securely attached to the base. We have used it several times, and so far there are no signs of warping. The non-stick coating works as claimed and is easy to clean. I'm happy with my OXO pan and think you will be, too. It's a solid pan at a good price. As long as you don't abuse it (avoid high heat, use silicone utensils, and DO NOT USE COOKING SPRAY) it should last a long time.

Bought this as a replace for an Ecolution Artistry griddle. My other pots are Ecolution and I really like the brand, but the surfaces do deteriorate over time, so I was ready to try something new. Having been using this 1x/week since purchase, so about 2 months. The griddle is flawless - completely non-stick, with little (or no) oil/other needed. (Note: the instructions advice NOT to use cooking sprays.) The handle mostly stays cool, at least about 2/3. The part closest to the griddle (the Y section) will start to heat up if you are using the griddle over a prolonged period. I've had zero issues with the griddle being warped or misshapen. Extremely happy with this purchase!

Great product. A little heavy but I am ok with that. Distributes the heat evenly.

Good griddle but FYI, though the top cardboard label makes it seem very easy to care for, the sticker on the item itself is more limited. It will however help it last longer.

Edit: 6 month update I still like this pan and use it frequently, probably about 3x per week. My original opinion stands but I have lowered the rating from 5 to 4 stars because after 6 months of use, I'm seeing a fair amount of micro-scratches on the surface. At this point, it's not affecting the use/performance, but it's more wear than I was hoping for given its price and brand. I don't use metal utensils on it and only handwash it, never scrubbing it and it always washes clean so aggressive cleaning is never required. Basically what gets cooked on it is bacon, eggs, and pancakes. I'll update more over time, but at this rate of wear, I don't see this being a long-term use griddle like I'd hoped and expected. On a more positive note, there's been no warping whatsoever, despite a few times having a larger gas flame than what I intended. ************ First review: I'm not sure why they make 10.5" pans, but they do and I have two. Then I spotted this 11" and the bonus is that it has an OXO brand, which has proved in the past to be flawless on everything else I've purchased. Now a full 6 strips of bacon fit, end to end and without overcrowding the sides. 😁 In my opinion, despite the high cost, this pan is absolutely worth it. It boasts a heavy-duty construction, with a thick bottom and a comfortable, easy-to-grip handle. Plus, it has a top-notch finish that is sure to last for years to come. In its first test this morning, I found extremely good heat distribution, meaning fewer hotspots and therefore, much more even cooking. Every piece of bacon cooked the same as the others and across each entire strip. If this can cook bacon that well, imagine what it could do with grilled cheese! Tomorrow morning, western omelets! Nothing beats the functionality of a great griddle for daily use, particularly during the summer.

Very good and sturdy pan at the right price

Don’t waste your money unless you want to buy a new pan next year and the warranty is useless. This pan worked great for about a year. I babied this thing! Mild soap, hand wash, no high heat, nothing abrasive. It was too expensive to mistreat. The non stick was awesome. Then it started to flake and food started sticking to the pan. I contacted OXO about the warranty (part of the reason I bought it) and they referred me to another company. Everyone was quick to respond, but ultimately they told me it was my fault and it had cooked on high heat with oil. I don’t use oil and I never cook on high heat. I told them that, but they were less than helpful and just don’t want replace a pan with flaking coating.

Perfect size. Clean up easy. Grilled cheese cone out perfect. & tacos.

This product remains in good condition because we never set the heat higher than medium to avoid any warping issues.
