Fjallraven Kanken Sling Crossbody Bag, Compact Lightweight Shoulder Pack for Travel and Everyday Carry

I have had this bag for nearly two years, I carry it daily, and it still looks like new. I have a pretty casual lifestyle so I wear it with everything from leggings to jeans to dresses. It fits everything I need with two big pockets, one small front pocket (perfect for chapstick), and a few interior pockets as well. I have completely hand washed it once (after a pen leaked ink) and laid it flat to dry, and have spot cleaned a few areas too. After I hand washed it, I sprayed it with Scotchguard and now dirt wipes off. If you're used to a large purse, then this will probably be too small for you, but I had been carrying camera style crossbody bags for a few years before I got the Kanken and it is a perfect size for me.

So i have 2 kanken backpacks, and now the kanken sling. I’ve had wonderful experiences with my kanken backpacks and they’ve lasted me very long, i’ve filled them to the point where i thought they might rip but they never did, took them on many travels and such. The kanken sling is like no other though, it’s so small yet holds so so much stuff. I use it everyday, i have at least 3 hand cream bottles, quite a few chapsticks, wallet, airpods, and more and i still have room to put my phone in there while i’m out and about. It’s insane how much it holds for being so tiny! there’s 3 zip pockets, the main one in the middle, the tiny one in the front, which contains a second small pocket inside it, and one right behind that middle one. The strap on it is very adjustable and the bag stays very close to my body and has the two other straps that snap together on the top, which make me feel like my valuables are very secure. There are also two small pockets on the side, i don’t use those much but they can be used to carry things like thin lipsticks and little candies. The front pocket being raised a bit does create some crumbs falling onto it if you eat while wearing it, but that’s an easy fix, just brush them off! my most favorite bag and bag brand ever, i love it so so much, it’s very well decorated and well used.

This is a great little bag and I love it! However it wasn’t love at first sight. It is shipped flat and initially looked so tiny until I fluffed it out and found that it does hold all my essentials; even my ereader! The zipper appeared to be difficult until I folded the front lip back, as shown in my photo and then it is easy. The strap is a generous length as I am a big girl.

I absolutely love this bag! For it being so small/compact it actually holds soo much! I originally bought this bag for traveling to hold my passport. The bag has a thin compartment in the back with a zipper that is perfect for storing a passport, I even fit my kindle back there. It has a little cushion between the main compartment and it to keep things a little more safe. In the main compartment there is another "hidden" pocket in the back where I put anything I don't want just floating around. I've had this bag for well over a couple years not and while its gotten a little dirty here and there from regular wear, it still looks pretty brand new and I use it every day! This is definitely worth the money in my opinion! Great for every day use, or small enough to make perfect travel bag!

Oh my gosh, this bag is so cute. It’s great for a travel hold so many things as little pockets in the front for small accessories although the only downside is because it’s so small it has a hard time going around the corner zipper, which can be a little bit of a nuisance for some as the bag is pretty stiff when you first get it, but after a while, it’s softens up and it’s easier to maneuver. The quality is very good. It does not pick up lint. It’s semi water resistance, comfort wise. The straps are a good length. The color is pretty accurate to the description and the build quality is great.

Its functionality its completely ok for me, can fix 2 cellphones, a bulky squared wallet, a tiny bottle of alcohol, ear buds, keys, a small box with few pills and first aids for 1 day, 2 pens +1 pencil, a small notepad, 5 napkins, 1 face mask, a thin fabric bag for shopping. Side pockets are perfect for bus tickets or some cash. The color is exactly the same in screen and right the one I was looking for. The strap length goes well for me, normaly I use it crossed in front of me, for safety, but sometimes I have extended it completely and adapted as a mini backpack. The squared design is very usefull because offers more capacity and flexibility.

i was looking for something smaller than what i normally carry to work. i usually carry lots of extra stuff like band-aids, personal hygiene items, and etc., because, well, you never know. but i also wanted to be able to just pack my wallet, keys, phone and vape for the times i just have to run in somewhere and don't want to carry the kitchen sink. so i put all the necessities in this little thing (it's so very cute) and took all the rest to work and stored it in my locker. now if i need something, it's already there, and the little bag goes wherever i go. it's smaller than i expected, more expensive than what i would normally spend, yet it ended up being perfect. i will say that the zippers are stiff and it will take a day or so of getting in and out of it to loosen them up, but it's overall very well made. the tiny pocket on the front is a bit inaccessible, but i put some chapstick and a small knife in there. i didn't think much of the handles, but i use them more than i thought i would to carry it. i am very satisfied with the quality and the aesthetic of this cutie and love the feeling of having just what i need in a small package.
