You can trust Salter to produce quality goods at affordable prices and for this item they continue to do so. For a quick one cup with no fuss it's perfect. Cleaning the filter is a dream. Once its emptied just rinse and no stain, no blockage. The reservoir is a bit tricky as the back fill near the lid hinge is best overcome by using a small jug but as I'm arthritic it may be a subjective thing. The travel mug keeps the drink at perfect temperature and a broad band prevents burning your fingers. Excellent results and all round winner.

This is a great little coffee maker just enough for one cup I have limited space and this is very compact fits easily into the space It makes one cup of coffee very quickly I tend to put my milk into the microwave to warm at the same time The only issue I have is it does drip for a little time after it’s finished I just put a bit of kitchen towel under the cup before brewing I have still given 5 stars even with this small issue Great value for money easy to use and clean and ideal for one person

I usually make coffee using a French press but cleaning it up isn't my favourite job. This machine is a nice step-up from that and I'm impressed. It's easy to use and clean, and it produces piping hot coffee. It's also cheaper and more environmentally friendly than using coffee pods. It doesn't take up much workspace room either, so hooray for that. I deducted a star from the overall rating for two niggly reasons. The first is that it's hard to see where the maximum fill line is in the reservoir. The other is that it continues to drip for a while after it has finished pouring the coffee. Neither is a deal breaker but perhaps Salter might fix them for future versions of this machine.

Perfect for the office! My husband refuses to drink instant and a cafetière just doesn’t cut it, I bought this as a surprise and he was genuinely excited to try it out. For weeks I got daily pics of it in use and he brings it home so we can take it on holiday. It’s great being able to make a proper coffee without any waste. The cup provided is a really decent size and to brew it takes no time at all. Highly recommend.

This is a great little filter coffee machine, it makes a dam fine cup of coffee for one in a couple of minutes or so. You can use your own mug or there is a keep warm mug with lid as part of the package. The timer can be set the night before and the machine will start brewing your coffee ready for breakfast or to take on your journey if you're in a hurry.

Well built, good coffee, fast. Would be 5 stars however what lets it down is that the display lights are always on, blazing out blue light which is not great if it is kept in the bedroom. Turning it off loses the clock time and alarm settings.

Excellent gadget! Fairly lightweight so probably avoid 'man handling' makes great coffee and works out less expensive than my pod system so I'm already converted.

So I got this as a single cup coffee machine for work. I've had it 3 days, I've made about 5 cups of coffee with it. It worked well for the first two cups - I followed the instructions, I used the supplied cup to fill water and then to make the brew into. The first two cups filled the supplied cup as you would expect, every cup since then has required me to run the machine 2/3 times to get the same fill even though there is water in the unit. Having to watch the machine and be there to turn it on again and again pretty much defeats the purpose of purchasing it. Cannot recommend - also, Salter were USELESS for customer care, I asked a basic question about unit operation and got back a request for a ton of irrelevant info (date & proof of purchase, proof of who I am etc) but no answer to my question.

This Salter coffee maker came with a UK plug. 🙁Why is this item for sale in Australia??🤔 Had to send it back - don’t buy.

Sending an electric device to Australia with a UK electric plug is a complete waste of my money and time

The lid broke on y to the 4th day of using. Though the product has 12 months warranty Amazons return date has exceeded hence I am stuck with a defective product
