I bought this brace because I have carpal tunnel issues in both my wrists, as well as diabetes neuropathy. It is sold in 2 sets of a left hand and right hand. I chose to get it in a size smaller than I usually get because I wanted it to be very snug. I bought a size medium and I'm glad I did because it is working out great with the amount of stretch it has. I have a size 7 1/4 wrist and there is plenty of stretch, it's not too tight. I often wear a rigid brace on top of this brace on my right wrist because it is more severely effected and requires tight imobilization most of the time. These braces are made from a material called TPE, thermoplastic elastomers. I have had no itching, swelling, redness, no problems at all with the material. The material is totally waterproof and washable in mild soap and water. You can wash dishes while wearing the braces, go swimming, etc., I've had no set backs from any activities I want or need to do while wearing the braces. I have had marking pens stain the material though...but no worries, there is an extra set!! I really do like these braces so much, they are very comfortable to sleep in. The first few days I wore them on and off while I got used to them. Now I can wear them all day and night if I need to. They are super affordable $12.99 for 2pr is crazy affordable for me as I'm a senior on a fixed income!! I had Prime shipping, so it was free.

I'm surprised and delighted. Being waterproof is what sold me. The carpal T. just sleeps and rest. SNUG support allows me to work with tools without re-injuring. I would highly recommend this product. Calming inflammation and reduces soreness.

So.. I'm conflicted. I loved these at the start, but a few weeks in wearing them I'm finding some issues. I have DeQuervains Tendonitis in both of my hands, worst in my right hand. I'm a home health nurse who's independently, my hands take abuse from transfers etc. I bought these because a normal brace is impossible to keep under knit trial gloves for work. These braces are great because you can wear them under gloves, but the thumb part tends to roll back. Granted, that's much more minor than a giant brace under a glove. I usually have to powder hands before putting these on, or impossible ( the Package does state that) I wear these 3–4 times a week and I've noticed there are parts of the brace starting to peel/wear away. Though they are silicone, they don't seem to have very much strength for normal wear and tear. The right thumb is ripping so they're loose with no compression now. There is no thumb support with these – but I do have to say it's amazing how much it helps my tendinitis. The pressure of them and the way they sit on my hands does do wonders. So if anything they do help my pain, while providing a minimal brace so I can glove up constantly at work. The only complaint is maybe the quality, they are starting to break down in less than one month. So it's a 50/50. The first few weeks cool- but after less than a months they're ripping, no compression and essentially crap. Waste of $11 because I was so excited for these

If you’re looking specifically to help immobilize your thumb, this is not a good product is very loose on the thumb and underneath the thumb it is tight on the hand and the wrist if that is what you’re looking for and very hard to get off once you’ve had it on because you do sweat quite a bit with this on

These are perfect. I wear them while painting my home for thumb support. The paint washed right off and I got great thumb support while working. Highly recommend.

First I would call this a "support" and NOT a "brace" or "splint" as it says in the description. I was looking for a support so this works for me, but if you are looking for something more rigid, like a brace or splint, this is not it. That said I really like the support it gives and how comfortable it is to wear. It has just the right amount of support for my situation and I almost forget that I have it on. It's very easy to rinse off if something gets on it.... BUT... I do wish it came in black or at least a darker color. I am very active in the garden, barn, and woodshed so I'm afraid that the light color is going to look dingy and gross pretty quickly. Also, it's not a breathable material so I worry about sweating under it, especially in the summer months, and if that's going to cause irritation. For those two reasons I did 4 stars instead of 5. UPDATED: I've had them less than a week and here is what I have found. While washable, they do get dingy looking pretty quickly. One has already torn at the thumb while putting it on. I've found that they get "tacky" pretty quickly. They are NOT breathable and DO cause sweating under them (and it's not even warm here yet in the north). While they themselves are waterproof (ie the TPU material), water can get under them and onto your skin. If you take them off to dry your hands, they are nearly impossible to get back on. I've reduced the stars for all of these reasons, and won't order again, but still give 2 stars for comfort and support. If you are a person who works in an office or other "clean" environment they may work for you.

They definitely help my carpel tunnel. I love the fact that they are waterproof. Most importantly I use my hands constantly while working cleaning homes. I can definitely tell you worth the money.

The best Thumb support you can find for everyday support!!! This really helps you with everyday activities !!! I suffered a really bad Thumb Quervain Tendonitis and this is the only product that is not cumbersome and small but does the job super well and you can actually go in the water with it making dishes easier to clean when having flareups !!! It comes with 4 yes 4 sleeves in the box so very worth the price !!!
