Would not shut down
I liked the product problem was the PlayStation would not shut down. It would start by itself and would not shut off.

How is this referbished if the Sony warranty seal is till affixed?
The unit I got was filthy. Visible dirt from the Blue Ray drive. When hooked up, it popped up the message the unit wasn't shutdown properly and the drive needed to be repaired. Once that finished and rebooted, I was greeted with someone else's account. After a factory reset, setting it up for myself was easy, except as soon as I got to choose HDMI for the display, once it switched, the black background was spotted with while sporty, in kind of a light static. It wasn't noticable once signed in, but as soon as I launched a game it was not only back, but the screen kept going black. I switched to a brand new HDMI, tried a different port on my TV, and even tried it on another with the same result. I cleaned the using as much as I could without taking it apart, and you wouldn't believe the nasty stuff the finally came out. This did help some, but after a few minutes of Batman Arkham City, the spots returned as did the blanking out screen. I did get a replacement and it's perfect so I'm sure one slipped though with a quick test and shipped it out as ok.
