This chess board is even better than we expected. The board and pieces are a good size, and are nice and heavy. It looks cool on the coffee table in the living room, and if you aren't finished playing, it's easy to leave set up without worrying the pieces will get knocked over easily. Having a neat looking chess board and pieces has really made teaching my daughters how to play more fun for all of us. I highly recommend this board. It's a great deal for the price.

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day. He loves it, as do our grandsons. The pieces are well-made, heavy, and beautifully crafted. The board is also pretty.

The quality of this chessboard is amazing. The pieces are nice and heavy and each piece is crafted with such detail. It is expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for. Unfortunately when I received my package it got super beat up and the casing they came in was styrofoam so it was a huge mess trying to extract all the pieces. That's one little caveat though; I am super happy with my set.

Great product just wished it came with some type of case or holder for the set. Mine came with a bag that I guess is to hold the pieces.

Good purchase and seller: I've had this chess set for two months now. I've been playing with my daughters a couple of times per week. Pieces are heavy so they don't move on their own. There is felt underneath to protect the board. We've dropped the pieces a few times and they're still looking perfect. Given the heavy construction, I'm hoping that it will stay that way for a few years.

Really like the weight and boldness of this set. It is so attractive we are leaving it out on display whether playing the game or not. The craftsmanship is great.. makes you want to pick each piece up and just stare at the quality and detail.

They are worth the money. Looks even better in real life than photos. However , they are a little bit heavy.

The finish/plating on the board started flaking off after a half dozen games or so. I returned it.

Beautiful chess set, always admired by guests. Good solid pieces, heavy and decorative.

Das Schachbrett war an zwei Stellen beschädigt. Der Verkäufer meinte, das wären keine Schäden, ich solle mit einem Lappen die Flecken beseitigen. Ich habe daraufhin Aufnahmen mit einem Makroobjektiv zugesendet, und der Verkäufer hat mir 15% Rabatt angeboten. Die Kommunikation war gut, und schnell. Weil das Schachspiel an sich ziemlich cool aussieht, und aus Indien kommt, habe ich das Angebot angenommen. Den Schaden habe ich mit silber und bronze Farben als Gemisch "ausgebessert", was etwa 10 Euro gekostet hat und für mich in Ordnung ist so. Das Schachspiel war in einer roten Box, welche schlimm gestunken hat, und deshalb weggeschmissen wurde. Das Spiel selber hat auch einige Wochen merkwürdigen Geruch abgesondert. Insgesamt ein gemischtes Erlebnis. Ich hätte mir ein unbeschädigtes Spiel gewünscht. Weil es eigentlich einen Wiederverkaufswert haben, oder verschenkt werden sollte. Hat es jetzt nicht, 125 Euro geht nach Delhi, passt schon. Wieso soll ich mich über sowas aufregen, wenn die Welt eh den Bach runter geht. Die Figuren sind teilweise magnetisch, was im Zusammenhang mit "echt Messing" etwas merkwürdig ist (siehe Video). Deswegen insgesamt 1 Punkt.
