Chimney Brick Sealer

Easy to apply to chimney brick, good water repellency. I would buy this again.

Our house is mid century modern stone home with the chimney going perpendicular into the house about 20 feet. There are 5 flues. After buying the home about 13 years ago, there were slight leaks around the fireplace ceiling after a good rain. It gradually got worse over time that developed into water running down into the living room across the ceiling. I mean alot of water. When entering the front door, there is about 6 feet of chimney outside the entrance (under roof). I started wondering why this stone would be soaked with water after rain. Did my research and learned that stone can act like a sponge. I used this product about 6 years ago and have not had a drop of water since. Stone at entrance is dry as a bone even after heavy rains. Still working great but reapplying. Just to be safe.

Sprayed my chimney brick and grout. Make sure you scrape off any crud before applying. Too soon to tell if it works

This stuff is awesome. Sprayed it on some stone (a few coats) and water just beads off of it—doesn’t soak in

My chimney was constructed almost 50 years ago by a contractor friend and myself. It started leaking about a couple of years ago and just kept getting worse. After discovering this product, my 24 year old grandson agreed to apply. He pressured washed chimney and allowed 2 days to dry out, then came back and sprayed the product to all four sides of chimney and followed the INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER. It only took 1 gallon to do entire job and this was for 2 coats. Just can't say enough about the product! Not a drop of water anywhere inside! Total time, including the pressure washing and application of product was about 1½ hours. Price is very attractive and the results are absolutely amazing. Will be doing this again in a couple of years just to be safe. Go for it!

I think the only downside of this stuff is trying to spray is if your chimney is not easily reached. We used one of the craftsman garden chemical sprayers that run on AA batteries, and used one bottle on each of your chimneys. They look better after the wash and coat, and the next rain beaded up nicely.

I used this to seal my chimney last fall. It went on easily enough but I won’t know for another year or two now well it holds up.

This is great stuff. Sprayed leaking brick fireplace chimney with product last fall and no more leaks! Sprayed again this fall for added security. Won't spray again for five years as product claims.

Brick sealer works well and is easy to apply. It has been on my chimney for 4 years and is still preventing water saturation of the bricks that used to happen.

Was easy to put on but haven't had a heavy downpour to test it's effectiveness.
