This stuff actually WORKS!!!!!
Best animal deterrent on the market that I have found to actually work. Deters rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and even those pesky deer that are determined to eat my entire flower and vegetable gardens. But use the LIQUID!!!!!!! The granules are easier to use but they DID NOT WORK!!!!!! Be prepared to gag if really bad smells do that to you because the smell is horrendous!!!! Fortunately, for all involved, the smell totally dissipates in a day or two.

Doesn't work. Not worth the $$
This didn't work. Infact it drew the critters to it to eat/lick it up... I live about 3 miles from the big city but I live by (but not connected to) a small wooded park. I have a very small front yard and little back yard. In the last few years we started to see 1 or 2 skunks and about the same with raccoons. They never really came around but this year is the worst by far. Not only did the shunks and raccoons have babies but so did the groundhogs and the deer! It's like a zoo now and they are all invading my yards. At night they set off all my cameras all around my house. Day time the deer eat my plants and trees and sleep in my backyard. I can't walk around my yards because they leave their calling card (if you know what I mean) all over the place. They dig holes, eat and kill all my plants and trees. I went to Home Depot (HD for short) for help with experts and they talked me into buy something like this (but it's pellets) and told me to switch it up with this stuff (bought this off Amazon because it was less than half the price of HD wanted). They said to even mix it together for maximum effects if the critters get worse. (HA! Now that's funny, not!) First I tried them by themselves, following the directions. NOPE! Even tried without water. NOPE! Let me tell you. These powders (and pellets) were the worst things I bought! All the critters came out in groups to eat this each time I put this out. It even got worse when I sprinkled them around mixing them together on the ground like the experts at HD told me to do. Now I want to go and sprinkle it on their properties just to have them have the experience I had. Oh, BTW it stinks! It has a yucky smell (dry or wet). They claim that's what's supposed to scare away the critters. Nope! They want to lick and eat it. I ended up buying the flashing light with noise things and they are working alot better than this stinky stuff! I can't return these because I used at least half of them each. DON'T BUY THIS! Buy the flashing lights thing instead. Wouldn't give stars but can't go below 1.

Will buy again
I don't think it works on opposums. But so far I think it definitely has helped with skunks, racoons and mice or rats running though my yard. With neighbors feeding animals, I think I would give this a try if you want something that seems to work. Will keep using until I figure something else out.

Doesnt work as good as it used to be
I was hopping tgis product will work to stop the deer from eating our hostas , but in only for short periods of time as the deers got used to it they will eat our hosta like with little sprinkles of salts . Little disappointed about that But even worse when our asiatic lilys got demolished by red beetle even after I used this religiously to try to to stop that to happen, not sure if the beetle also got used to it or the formula not as strong it used to be .

Might work on city racoons but did not deter my country coon!
I live in the country, and my freshly planted flower pots were getting disturbed at night. I set up a camera and saw it was a racoon. I ordered this product, and I dragged my flower pots into my garage each night until I got the product. The first night I applied this, I had a little trouble as the shaker part of the lid faced the handle. It made it hard to sprinkle it evenly and get it cleared off the top in order to close the lid. It had kind of a garlic smell, so I liked that it didn't smell toxic. The next morning, most of my flower pots were disturbed again. I thought maybe I didn't apply enough, so after fixing all of my pots again, I sprinkled the product on heavily. I even put it on the ground around the flower pots. The next morning, it looked like a crime scene! It was the worst night yet with all of my pots tipped over, the flowers set to the side, and the dirt dumped out of all of the pots! It was like this product enraged the coon and set him on a warpath! Discouraged, I redid all of my flower pots again. I put peppermint essential oil on a cotton ball in each of my flower pots, and this seemed to deter my coon. We'll see if that continues to work. So this product might work on your racoon, but it did nothing to deter my country coon! Maybe my coon loves the smell of garlic?? Anyway, you could always try the peppermint oil trick as well if this product doesn't work for you.

I'm happy to have found something that works!
This really repels the critters that we want to keep out of our garden. Deer, raccoons, and rabbits stay clear! You do have to keep applying it, but a little goes a long way.

Not good for deterring armadillos
Not good for deterring armadillos, as claimed. Used 2 containers in my front yard alone. Applied it in the afternoon. Did not water the lawn to ensure that it would be as strong as possible. Had many new holes and damage the next morning. Ironically enough, it’s almost like it attracted armadillos because 3 out of the 4 places where I have new damage is where I applied the most product.

There's ONE rabbit only and it's not a BIT affected by this product. It munched through a dozen marigold seedlings then came back and decimated my ivy geranium the next evening. I scattered more around and it came back tonight and started on my other ivy geranium. I had such high hopes because this product was very expensive and I debated long and hard whether I should get it. I'm lucky my livelihood didn't depend on this deterrent. There have been rabbit infestations in past years and I was hoping this was the magic bullet. So VERY disappointed and angry
