Stale, very very hard, taste like chemicals!!! Very Very Disappointed! I would like very much be refunded!!! The don’t give you the option to be refunded or returned! DO NOT BUY!!!!!

It’s true that these are insanely stale. However, I purchased them for my mother who loves marshmallow and candies like these that are based on marshmallow. But not just any marshmallow… she loves stale marshmallows. When i was a kid she would ask us for marshmallow Peeps at Easter. I’d always get some the first time I would see them in the store. Buying them early would provide maximum time for hardening and getting stale for the holiday. So we would open the packaging, and tuck them away somewhere where we wouldn’t see them on a daily basis and then give them to her once they had aged. I purchased these for her without seeing all the “bad” reviews (trash vs treasure, don’t yuck mom’s yum, etc). It i had, I would’ve ordered two. I’m about to send them to her as part of her Christmas package (yes, it is the end of January but that’s my timetable). She’s going to love these so much. I’ve never seen such a stale marshmallow product in my life. She’s on to something with the stale marshmallows. They are better when they’re a bit tougher. Kinda like mom herself. The older and tougher, the better.

Not great. Circus peanuts should be soft. These are very, very hard. I thought maybe it was due to being delivered in the cold, however a couple days later, no change. They also have a weird chemical after taste. I won’t buy again. Steer clear and go with another brand.

Hard gross, and tastes weird. Something is definitely wrong with these. Some say they taste like lemon, but I don’t think they taste like lemon. They taste like a circus peanut that has been on a shelf for 30 years, and has gone rancid. They repackaged these, and now I wonder how old are these, and should they be selling them. Looked at expiration and they claim they’re still good until 2027, but I have a hard time believing that expiration is real. The taste and texture says a different story.

I have loved these ever since I was little, the bag size is a great value, and when you see those peanuts memories come flooding back. You see them and they still look the same, and the taste is even better!

The taste is not like my normal circus peanuts. Texture is hard which I like… almost stale.. but the taste is not good. Sadly I bought 3 lbs of this and regret it.

Had a odd taste and very hard couldn’t bite into.

I hardly ever given a negative review but I have to warn everyone. These are hardest rocks. I almost broke a tooth on one. It’s ridiculous no flavor. It was trying to chew on a rock. I swear to God it was it was horrible a whole bag $17 worth with tax do not buy this product and Amazon shouldn’t let you this company be selling these things I had to throw the whole bag away because you can’t return food well they shouldn’t be selling this warning, warning, warning!!!!!!!
