Solid stand that has been excellent so far
I'm glad I paid up for this stand. I was close to picking something else that was cheaper, but I was swayed by the all-metal construction of this one. I set it up in about 5-10 minutes, and it's performing perfectly. When I get a second monitor, I will absolutely buy another one of these. Pros: *All metal *No shake/rattle/roll (unexpected movements) *Monitor doesn't slowly sag and has always been where I left it when I return the next day *Easy setup *Mounts to my glass-topped desk with no problem. My desk is only 1/4in thick, but the mounting plate is completely adjustable for thin or thick desks *Looks good *Huge range of motion *I believe this is the Ergotron mount, with Amazon branding/packaging *Pivots and springs can be adjusted to be tighter or looser with an included hex key *Zero additional tools needed to set-up this mount (anything needed is included in the box), UNLESS you're going to use the drill-thru mount. Cons: *Heavy *I find the monitor angle spring to be very stiff; even when loosened, it's still quite stiff. Better than loose, of course, but just something to note for folks that may tilt their monitors regularly.

Exceeded My Expectations
This Amazon Basics monitor arm was noticeably less expensive than a very similar monitor arm that I purchased from another vendor. The other unit has a taller support pole and is a bit more polished looking, but otherwise both units are comparable in design and function. Both arms are very sturdy and exceed my expectations in turns of weight capacity, installation flexibility, ease of installation, and adjustment flexibility/range of motion. The fact that the Amazon Basics arm saved me a little bit of money with no apparent sacrifices makes it a great overall value and a very nice addition to my multi-monitor computer setup.

Very Strong Monitor Arm and Works really well!!
This is honestly a really good monitor arm despite the price. It may seem pricey, but it holds my ultra wide much better than some of the other arms I've used. I definitely will put my most expensive monitor on this arm. Only disappointing part about it is that it doesn't have the range of motion that my other arm does, but it's a compromise for being half the price of the arms that have it all. Specifically the height adjustability is lacking for obvious reasons and the up-down facing motion is very stiff with no adjustability.

High quality monitor arm
This monitor arm is very easy to assemble and set up. The instructions are very clear, and it comes with stickers that tells you which way to spin the screw to adjust the springs inside. I also like that it comes with cable ties to tie all the cables along the monitor arm. The only thing I didn't like was that it's little hard to move around the monitor. It might just be because I didn't adjust it well though.

Solid! Works great with my Wacom Cintiq Pro 24!
Save yourself some money and do NOT buy that Wacom branded armature. If you have a Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 then I highly recommend that you buy this very solid armature instead and the proprietary Wacom Vesa Mount (you have no choice but get Wacom's VESA mount for the Cintiq Pro 24 to attache to an armature). I also bought a 9" Ergotron arm extension so my setup would reach across my huge drafting table. The extension arm fits perfectly with this Amazon armature (since this Amazon armature is actually made by Ergotron, in case you don't know that). So, even with this extender, my setup is solid and there's only a slight bit of wobble which doesn't bother me. I can easily move my Cintiq Pro 24 from sitting to standing position, and tilt at any angle. Highly recommended!

One month in - I love it. Very sturdy. Almost no wobble.
I'm using it for an HP 27" monitor. After a month, it's held up well. Very heavy-duty feel to it. Silver color is pretty and dust doesn't show. It did started sinking a little, but I just used the included tool (shaped like a T) to tighten the screw inside the recessed area where the sticker is (don't remove it so you can find the spot easily). It's at the joint where the large piece that attaches to the computer then attaches to the rest of the arm. Other than that, it's great. Swivels and rotates smoothly. Strong clamp to my desk, which is pretty thick at 1 3/16 in thick. It's a Vari desk with a beveled edge, which gave this Amazon Basics monitor arm no problem.

Buy if your monitor is less than 3 pounds
Extremely wobbly, even with a light display made of plastic, typing on my desk makes my monitor dance around which is very distracting. I was planning to replace my current monitor with an ultrawide but I'm reconsidering because of how unstable this arm is.

A Neck-Saver!
I have had neck problems for a long time, and came to realize my extensive use of my tablet was part of the cause. This arm has been awesome. I can get my tablet at eye height to stop straining my neck. I can go from computer use to drawing tablet with a few adjustments to the arm and it makes my area simple to stow when I need to! Very sturdy, holds the table well. **Needed an adapter to put the tablet on it - just FYI (Wacom Cintiq Companion). I'm still trying to adjust to the range of motion necessary for my work, but only because I have it mounted next to me... Across a desk would be best and would allow the best range of motion.
