OtterBox 77-30728 Armor Series Waterproof Case for iPhone 5 - Retail Packaging - Harvey

This case is very beautiful on my iphone 5. I like how the back has kind of like a silicone bed for the back of the iphone and it comes with wrist strap. My only issues with the case is that this is not a case that you would take to the water park or ocean this is just if you accidently drop it in a puddle. Onther issue is that I had to keep removing the back to adjust it because it would have a slight crack between the phone and case. But other than that it is very big and has a nice weight to it.

This item is heavy duty and durable, as expected for an Otter Box. However, the fit was real snug, to the point of leaving gaps when fully on the phone. This caused problems with the screen cover forming bubbles, making texting more difficult. Also, the cover has to be removed to charge the phone because the opening is too small. I did not give it a less star rating because the ad for it said the item is being discontinued. Guess that means the company already knows there may be a problem. It is usable and I will continue buying Otter Boxes.

The latch closure is AMAZING. Looks good, it’s probably one of the prettiest covers I’ve had. It feels good in the hand, but it does add a hearty weight to your cell, which you’ll get from a rugged case like this. The touch screen isn’t as responsive as the previous otterbox cover I had. There’s a little gap in the responsiveness, which is obnoxious. And the screen is NOT ANTI-GLARE. So do not purchase if you plan on using your phone outside a majority of the time, the visuals won’t pass muster.

Had the case for months on end and loved the design and feel of it. when I first got it i noticed the back left side seemed odd as it just had teeth that lined up an meshed. Didn't pay too much attention to it as i thought the clamps would keep it down. About six hours ago I was paddle boarding with my phone around my wrist thanks to the leash they give you with the phone. I accidentally fell off the board and the leash snapped causing my phone to hit the board and fall in the water. The water was no wheres near deep(waist high) and it took me less than 2 minuets to find my phone. When I pulled it out of the water I saw that the side without the clamps was raised higher. This would consistently happen when the case was dropped and I talked to others who had the case an said it did occur with them as well so I didn't think much of it. I returned back to the house and i managed to get all the water out by opening the phone and patting it down with a towel. my phone is amazingly still in working condition with minor glitches, I would never buy this case again or any other "water proof" case made by Otter Box.

Arrived sooner than I was expecting, much fancier than I was expecting, love it! Its a bit heavier than my old otterbox, but really like the convenience of the strap and smoothness of exterior. Had to hunt for how to open case to charge phone, its such a tight fit that use a tool to pry it open. Love the hinges. My phone seems very secure in this case, and the light/bright colors make it easy to find in my bags, car, etc., where other would disappear.

Bought this for my 16 year old daughter - we require her to have an Otter Box on her phone rather than a flimsy decorative case. I thought this was a good compromise. She loves the look of it, but it's still bulky and cumbersome, and interferes with easy use of earbuds. I, on the other hand, love it because it's protective, well-made, and cute.

great protection for my iphone 5s, i bought this to protect my iphone when I go on vacation to the carribean. The only thing the phone shuts down periodically and restarts maybe because it is getting too hot from the case....but thats a compromise i am willing to risk for the short term.

Bought this case because otter box has awesome customer service and my lifeproof broke (normal wear and tear) and the company wouldn't replace it or help me like otterbox will. I tested to see how waterproof it was as soon as I got it. A very slight bit of leakage but nothing major. So far, no complaints here!

This is a great case - when it arrived I thought it was too bulky and was going to send it back but did not get round to doing so I received a replacment phone and wanted something to protect it so looked at this case again - I put it on and thought "maybe not too bad"I am a dairy farmer and my phone was constantly getting wet and giving a lot of bother when in the milking parlour - I never tried putting my phone under water but with very wet hands it works perfectly well which is what I wantedThe case is very easy to take off and put on to clean it - I give it 10 out of 10 for my job

This product I brought for iPhone 5, it was value for money, I'm using the phone continually for daily use this with case, it never gave up, yes, there are wear and tear, but Value for money !!

I'm very happy with this case, it is very watertight. I left it underwater for 40 minutes and the inside remained dry. It feels sturdy, and a little on the heavy side (which I don't mind). The design looks really good, and it's still easy to use all of my phone's functions. My order arrived in 2 business days, and was half the price of the same product in retail stores. Good purchase :)

Bought this for my grandson. He needed a waterproof case for his iPhone while helping his Dad work on the farm. He says it's terrific and besides being a typical sturdy otterbox, it really is waterproof. He knows this for a fact because he purposely left it outside in the rain to test it out. Typical teenage boy behaviour, lol.

It is a good case.
