Powerful, easy to clean
I don't leave reviews. This product is awesome! My favorite part is you can break down the entire vacuum and clean it. You'll need to clean the filter or it will lose suction but once you do it works like new. I've had it for over a year. My house is about 1500 sqft, I did by a larger battery on Amazon, before it would get the job done but only on half power, with my 8.0ah battery I can vacuum entire house on high with ease and I tend to go over the carpet with a few passes. Would purchase again. Mom has a Dyson, is it as good as the dyson, not sure, but for the price we)l worth it

Fantastic cordless - Comparable suction to the 11 AMP Vaccum we normally use.
Surprising amount of suction. The brush is powering through the carpet and the suction is picking everything up so It isn't a breeze to push, it's busy grabbing everything out of the carpet. I love the vacuum but would warn elderly people that it is too heavy for them, a lot of weight right at the hand and it's not a breeze to push. I owned a more expensive cordless , the brand name starts with an e and ends with a lux. It was a great vacuum, I was very impressed with it, it was light and easy to push, did a very nice job but the battery faded and replacing it is very difficult. And with that said, this vacuum does a much better job than the more expensive one. There are caveats; It is heavy on the hands and it grabs and sucks up everything so it isn't a breeze to push. I want to be clear, it isn't hard to push, but if you are 80 years old and your arthritis is bothering you, it would be too much for you. Like I said in the title, this thing competes and might even out perform our 11AMP upright, when you vacuum with this thing you can see where you've been, it is surprisingly powerful. I highly recommend this product. And the replaceable batteries make it an easy choice. We have 4 Black and Decker devices that run on the same exact battery, 20 Volt lithium. We have the drill, lead blower, weed eater and the vacuum (happy with all of them). I don't know how they test battery the amount of time the battery last. It probably would last 50 minutes on wood floors? For us it's closer to 20-25 minutes (100% Carpeting with rugs) I can do the entire down stairs (1200 square feet) with one charge and if I need it for a longer period of time I can just swap the battery out with any of the other three we have. Again, I highly recommend this product.

Works well/priced reasonably
Power is good and I like that it has 3 power settings. Battery life is okay. Noise level is kind of loud but not as much as other vacuums. Suction works well. The lights are a nice touch. Docked it for the empty bin. A lot of stick dysons I’ve used have a spring shaft that you press down on to clear out the bin and around the filter. This one does not. It’s not a Dyson so that’s fine, just be aware you’ll have to fish out some of the debris in the waste bin. If you have other B&D tools then the battery life shouldn’t worry you too much. It’s compatible with the batteries for most of the hand power tools they have. Also, it does not adjust really to floor height. So it’s great on hardwood floors and low low area rugs. Anything with texture it’ll struggle with as it is set pretty low. Didn’t include that in my star rating as I bought it for hardwood floors but it’s just a FYI to future buyers. Overall, would recommend.

Best Cordless Vacuum EVER
I LOVE this cordless vacuum cleaner. The vacuum power is great! Have had several other types/brands, and the internal battery gets weaker and I am racing around my house to try and clean before the battery dies. After awhile, the battery doesn't charge at all and you end up throwing the whole vacuum cleaner in the garbage. I was hoping Black & Decker would have a cordless vacuum, and behold they did! It uses the same external battery as all of my lawn/garden tools. The battery holds a much longer charge so I'm NOT racing through the house; but if I use all the battery 'juice', I have another one already charged (because I have them from my other tools, but I can also purchase extra batteries if I want). Getting the dirt bin on and off is a little tricky but I'm getting better at it with time. Wish I had thought about looking into Black & Decker years ago. Would have saved me money and frustration. I definitely recommend this cordless vacuum cleaner.

Doesn't like rocks or crumbs will spit them back at you
I got this vacuum after reading lots of reviews and thought it would be a great option for our home. During the winter I thought it was a nice vacuum other than trying to suck up crumbs under the dining room table that my robot vac can't reach. however now that it is spring dirt, sand and rocks are coming in (i live on a farm and have 3 kids and 3 adults and a dog in our household) it is horrible. It doesn't have enough suction power to pick up small rocks and it will just leave them behind or worse fling them back at you when you go to move. This vacuum also doesn't like changing surface heights so if you have area rugs and exposed flooring it will not suck up where they meet. It clogs easily in the tube that goes from thr floor head to the pipe. Dirt bin is a horrible design to remove and replace on the unit. I only use this vacuum in our entryway, stairs and stairwell landing and part of our basement. So far the only thing I still like is I can make it short enough for my toddler to use. I also like that I can use the same batteries as my drills. It's fairly light weight which I also like. I guess I am still searching for a good vacuum that has the power i need to remove the dirt. The photos I posted are of the rocks it leaves behind. And the stair rug I already vacuumed.

Pros: - Does a great job! The finest particles and dog hair are easily taken care of. - Dust bin is easy to take apart for cleaning. - Manoeuvres well for getting into tight areas. - The attachment is handy for between furniture gaps. - Charger can be mounted on wall or not. Either way it's easy to recharge. - Flat carpet and laminate floors are no challenge. - Has 3 speeds. The lowest setting is good for laminate floor, the highest for low pile carpet. Cons: - Feels cheap, but so far it's holding up well. It's been several months now. - Bin is a bit tricky to reattach. You need to get some bits out with fingers, and the pre-filter falls out sometimes. - Turning it into a handheld tool is awkward as you need to press the button hard and wrestle it apart. I used a bit of vaseline to make it slide off easier but it's still needs some muscle. Seniors might have real trouble with that. Same goes for removing and cleaning the roller. It should be easier to disassemble these parts because you will eventually need to clean them to remove string or hair. - Stands upright, albeit tenuously. Could be sturdier. - The brush attachment is almost worthless, collapsing when pressed even lightly. (See video) The attachment mount is a bit bulkier than it should be. (See image) Overall: I like it. It is a great vacuum for an apartment or small home, even with pets. Because it's so easy to maneuver it encourages me to vacuum more often. After using a canister vacuum and an upright with bag, this was a game changer. I would never go back now. UPDATE: I was emptying the dust bin when the pre-filter fell in the garbage. The garbage was gone before I realized my error. The window for a return was well closed by then but I contacted the seller — fully expecting them to say "tough luck", but to my surprise they offered to send out a replacement part. The new pre-filter is a different design. It has turbo-charged my vacuum and it can't fall out. In a world where companies are notorious for terrible customer service, this response made me feel so happy and relieved! The product now deserves the full 5 stars! Buy it. Good client support deserves your patronage.

Got this to replace a Dibea cordless vacuum. The main reason was the replacable battery - I was already invested in other Black & Decker tools (weed wacker, drill, jigsaw, and leaf blower), so I had quite a few 20V batteries and chargers lying around. The problem with the Dibea was two fold: 1. If you ran it at high power the battery would die quickly (about 10-12 minutes), and then you would have to wait a few hours for the battery to recharge before finishing your vacuuming. 2. If you ran it at the lower power it picked up the dirt ok and the battery would last longer but the suction would be minimal and part of the dirt/hairs would wind around the power head’s spinning brush and eventually work its way into the connection at the end of the brush and jam/damage the drive mechanism. The Black & Decker battery also only lasts about 10 minutes or so on its fastest speed, but I have a LOT of replaceable batteries 😀! And the roller mechanism remains clear of debris at this high suction speed. I also worry about the Black & Decker air filter plugging up and slowing down the suction, so I bought a package with four replacement filters. I can wash one of them and let it dry while continuing on with one of the other ones. Now this vacuum is new to me so I don’t know how it will perform long term. But the initial impressions are good. Update Dec-21-2023: Things continue to go well with this vacuum. I purchased a 5 amp hour battery: Ahomtikk 20V MAX Replacement for Black and Decker 20V Lithium Battey LBXR20 LB20 LBX20 LBXR2020-OPE LBXR20B-2 LB2X4020 Compatible with Black&Decker 20 Volt Battery https://a.co/d/bYh6HCB This 5 amp-hour battery is physically about twice as deep as the original battery (and maybe about 40% heavier) but it still allows the vacuum to hang from its wall mount with the battery installed and charging. I was a bit concerned that I might notice the extra weight with the larger battery installed, but it feels about the same to me. It took just over 6 hours to charge the battery after I received it - long enough that I was a bit concerned that it might never fully charge, but it finally finished (I suspect that it came with at least a partial charge and I haven’t yet measured how long it takes to fully charge a dead battery). The good part is it allowed the vacuum to run for just under 30 minutes (measured twice so far) on high speed. This is almost 3x as long as with the original battery. No idea how long the battery will last but so far so good. I have yet to have any kind of issue with the power head collecting any kind of debris around the two ends of the spinning brush, so that continues to be a win. Emptying debris from the dirt canister is a bit messy - originally I pulled it apart and cleaned the individual sections under running water (including the filter) as recommended. But if you wanted to continue vacuuming, you had to dry the parts and replace the filter with a fresh one. Recently I tried using the compressed air duster (I use the Koonie Cordless Air Duster sold on Amazon for $69 and a $20 off coupon) that I had purchased to blow dirt out of my computer. You take the vacuum canister outside and just blow the dirt out of it. Then you pull the filter section off the top and blow it out as well. This only takes a couple of minutes and it seems to work well since the filter looks as clean as it does after I wash it (though I will probably still occasionally wash it just to make sure). Since this doesn’t involve water, the vacuum is immediately available to continue vacuuming - and you don’t have to bother hunting down another filter.

¿Volvería a comprarla? Muy probablemente, aunque sí encontrara otra más ligera con sistema anti enredo de cabello, creo que me iría por esa otra.

I love the light on the front and that the battery is separate. The suction has three levels and the lowest one works well on hardwood floors. The dirt cup is a little small and it looks like the filter will need cleaning and replacing on a regular basis. It’s bigger and a little heavier than I expected which is not a bad thing. It is definitely better quality than my old Dyson stick vac. All in all I am satisfied with the purchase.
