We purchased the EZ Reach Light Switch Extension because my son couldn't reach the light and we loved the monkey decal. I had read reviews that the decal was impossible to put on straight so I wasn't sure if it was a smart purchase. It turns out that the company has a you-tube video that shows a super easy way to install the decal. The whole install process including watching the video took 5 minutes and the decal went on perfectly. We are very happy and my son excitedly uses it every morning. Great product. The tail only extends the switch 10 inches so if you have high switches it still might not extend long enough for the youngest members of the house.

Works well with my "decor" style light switch. Many others are designed for traditional switches only. It is quite large, so I'm not sure how well it would have worked if I had a double switch in there. The installation was very easy. The pricing seems to keep going up. It looks and feels a bit cheap, but my preschool daughter loves it and it really works for it's purpose. She can independently turn on and off the lights. if you child is rough, you may want to coach them on using it since the tail seems like it could snap off if it was pulled the wrong way.

This was a purchase made with a hint of sadness. My son is three and now is starting to go to the bathroom by himself to use "the potty". The problem was, he couldn't reach the light switch by himself, so he would fumble around. This EZ Reach extension is the perfect solution. It was touted as being easy to install, which is usually the kiss of death in my experience. In this case, however, it lived up to the hype! I had it up and running in less than 2 minutes. And it works great! My son calls him Wags the Puppy and refers to him by name when he needs to turn on the light in his bathroom. Great job by the manufacturer, who gets extra kudos for being made in America! I am a very satisfied parent. Can't you see my tail wagging?

I love the idea of this toddler extender, but I have had to order 3 at different times because the tail keeps breaking off! Please make the tail STRONGER for toddler/kid use! Otherwise, it is a great product.

It's cute but wasn't long enough for our daughter at only 30 inches. The nice thing is that we were able to tie a ribbon to it so she can slide it from side to side to turn it on and off.I didn't think the sticker went on easily either. It was impossible to make it straight.

My 3.5 year old is constantly asking me to turn the bathroom light on for her, so I was very anxious to get something setup for her to do it herself - she loves being independent. Unfortunately, after the initial excitement of showing it to her and ripping it out of the package, once it was installed we quickly realized that she is still not tall enough to reach it. This was frustrating for me, and devastating for her being the independent little person she is. I was concerned about the length, especially since the dimensions are not listed in the product description, but after reading reviews from other parents it sounded like it should work. It seems like it would be easy enough to make the tail length adjustable - it hangs about 9" below the actual switch, we need about 3-4" more (1' would probably be perfect).It also seems like the tail would probably break off very easily if it was pushed too hard or bent in the wrong direction by an anxious or excited child.Another thing to consider is that one of the switches we installed this on has 2 switches on a single plate (one for the vent fan). With this screwed on, you can't get to the 2nd switch without forcing it on/off which may break the EZ Reach plate.Another thing I would request from the manufacturer is that they add some type of compartment or something on the back of the wall plate to hold the original screws so they don't get lost. Eventually these will need to be removed, and keeping up with the original screws until then isn't realistic.If your child is tall enough (mine is, admittedly, a bit short for her age), and you have a single switch on the plate, this product may be just what you need.

As the other reviews say, this was very easy to install. It took me 3 minutes max. I suggest watching the youtube video first so you know how to best apply the sticker without bubbles. The youtube site address is in the packaging with the screws thay send.The only thing that is not awesome about this is that if you have a double traditional light switch (one for light next to one for fan on same light plate) the oval is a bit wide and it partially covers the other switch. However, since they provide long screws with their product it still works as long as you don't tighten the screws all the way down. This way you can still toggle the other switch behind the ez reach lightswitch plate. The ez reach lightswitch is not so wobbly that it's a hazzard so it all works out. My daughter is now able to turn on bathroom lights by herself.Note to manufacturer, make a thinner oval plate.

I don't have a child that needs to reach a light, I've got a particular furniture placement that I'm married to (wall mounted) and with some minor changes that I had to make, the light switch became obstructed.I've lived with a layout that I didn't like for over a year because of this dilemma.Enter EZ Reach and my problem is solved!!Now I've got a layout that I like AND access to the light switch.Love that the decal isn't pre-applied, while the plate (the oval part) is hidden in my house so it wouldn't matter, it makes it way more versatile.Customer service is outstanding, it's super nice that they include an extra screw just in case you drop and lose one, it's reasonably priced, made in the USA and it does the job - what more could you want?!Well, the only improvement I would suggest exploring would be the shipping materials - too big for the package but not the worst that I've seen from Amazon.Can't imagine how anyone could go wrong with this purchase!
