Did not affect the sound quality at this level but be aware that the volume in areas changes as the impedance of the load on the amplifier changes when connecting different sets of speakers. If not connecting matched pairs try to spread the load across both channels on stereo amp. i.e. don’t put additional mono speakers only on the left channel but put some on the right channel too. Metal case and chunky rocker switches seem good quality.
