These brushes work great for electronics and small parts cleaning, however they do not react well to water and especially not chemicals. Using liquid cleaners causes the glue to let go of the brush sleeve after about 10 seconds of exposure, which means it could get stuck inside a connector. So dry use only.

These are not as small as tiny dental brushes but are much softer and don't shed like Q-tips. I use them to clean hearing aids.
