I like the satan covers, don't expect the kind of satan utilized to make clothing. This is the perfect type that doesn't hold a lot of wetness allowing you to roll your hair wet and yet it dries nicely.

My very fine hair is naturally curly when wet- but when I blow dry it is mostly straight. If I air dry, all those curls frizz out in every direction and I end up looking like Gandolph. I want to add a bit of loose, bouncy curl to the ends of my long (mid back) hair without using hot rollers. Curling Irons make too tight of a curl for me. I bought the JUMBO, 1 ½” black curlers because they appeared to be the largest option. (The purple “bouffant” don’t say what the diameter is.) I'd hoped if I put these in my hair toward the end of the blow dry, while my hair is still just a little damp, that I could dry a little curl. I sectioned my hair into quarters because it is very fine and I wanted to be sure there was plenty of hair on each curler. I rolled them about half way up. When I put the clip on, even with 1/4 of my hair wrapped around several times, it was quite loose. Had I decided to shake my head back and forth a few times, they would have flown out. So I carefully held them in place as I used the dryer to finish drying my hair. I left the rollers in about 10 more minutes to cool. I might have left them longer, but they were sliding down and it was only a matter of time before they were going slip all the way off. I didn't need to remove the clip to slide my hair out. I did have the bit of curl I was hoping for...HOWEVER, in spite of how loose the rollers were, I had a very distinct crease line where the top of each clip had been. That's a great look on absolutely no one. I've washed them and put them in the donate box with the hope someone with thick hair can use them.

Cheaply made. Had to file the sharp ridges with a nail file so it won’t snap on my hair.

These are not magnetic; just smooth plastic. Don't hold my fine hair.
