Vegan Omega-3 & Astaxanthin

I've been taking this for years. Still the best.

As a picky vegetarian, my Doc said I wasn’t getting enough Omega-3 in my diet so I chose a supplement. Chose this one based on good reviews. As hard to tell if it makes a difference as it is to tell if a multivitamin makes a difference. What can you do?!

Doctor said I need a omega-3 supplement, but stand those fish burps so I was thrilled when I discovered Pure & Essential Vegan Omega-3. An algae-based EPA+DHA supplement is one the most important supplements in my daily routine. If my week is packed and I forgot to set out my supplements for the entire week, this is one of the few that I prioritize. (The others are D3+K2, B12 as cyanocobalamin, and Alpha Lipoic Acid.) This brand seems to be the best bang-for-the-buck. You get 50% more EPA+DHA here in each softfel than the average algae-based product, and there's 1mg of astaxanthin here to help with the stability of the fats. (I'm a vegan, so I haven't compared this product against any fish-based alternatives.) This is one of the few products that I do have on my subscribe-and-save.

I've been using this product for a few years now, and aside from the past two times I've received it, this supplement has helped me get Omega 3 which tends to be difficult with a typical vegan diet. With the past two orders, one or more capsules have ruptured sometime between the manufacturing and delivery timeframe. The oil that gets released when they rupture stains items on contact, causes capsules to gel together, and smells absolutely awful. Quality control needs to figure out a way to prevent this from happening. Way too expensive of a supplement to have issues like this.

As a supplement, there are many omega 3 products, I chose this one as a legal us quick to grow and there sustainable, not sure what the feed the Alexandria, additionally bottom of the food chain very little contamination with heavy metals. Do you research as your criteria may be different to mine

Wir nehmen die Kapseln seit über einem Jahr zur ergänzenden Versorgung. Für uns nach umfangreicher Recherche die richtige Wahl wegen der hohen Qualität und die beste Alternative zu Fischöl, das leichter oxidieren kann. Trotz gesunder Ernährung fühle ich mich damit besser versorgt um ständigen Entzündungen im Körper entgegenzuwirken (wir brauchen den Ausgleich zum recht hohen Omega 6 Anteil in unsrer Ernährung). Gerade für meine Eltern (beide über 70) ist die zusätzliche Versorgung wichtig.

Très bon oméga 3 vegan à base d’huile d’algues. La chose que j’ai appréciée immédiatement, c’est l’absence totale de goût ou d’odeur de poisson, ce qui est souvent le problème des oméga 3 classiques. Les gélules sont faciles à avaler, la composition est propre et les doses de DHA/EPA sont très bonnes pour un produit végétal. Aucun reflux, aucune gêne après la prise. Après quelques jours d’utilisation, je me sens plus clair mentalement et moins fatigué dans la journée. Le flacon est solide et les gélules bien emballées. Très bon produit pour ceux qui cherchent une alternative vegan et efficace. Je recommande 👍
