Evans EMAD Clear Bass Drum Head - 18 Inch

Muffle system allows just the right amount of tonal resonance while controlling unwanted overtone. Combining with muffle ported Emad resonant head (I use Blk. Onyx), sound great and looks badass. I use this system on all three of my kits' basses. They are EXPENSIVE, but I haven't found anything to compare. I like the Emad 2 for my style and type of music, but if you're a lead footed hard rock player get the Emad 3 which is thicker. but a little less responsive. You don't want to put your foot through one of these. If you can afford it, get the batter and resonant head. For me, the sound was worth the money.

I really didn’t think replacing the stock (cheap) Remo heads that came with my new Sonor kit would make much difference. But, they did. Wow! The fuller sound and depth of resonance is Impressive. Since I only use this as a practice kit I’m the only one who actually hears the sound they produce, but my practice satisfaction quotient has risen significantly since the change. I used to play a lot in the 1980’s and just recently got back in the drumming game. This is my first experience with Evans and I’m very impressed. It might be new technology or materials, and Remo (the old standby), and Aquarian might produce just as good a product, but Evans heads are an excellent buy.

Wow! Turned a wimpy 18" bass into a real kick drum! $29.99 from Long Island Drum Center; worth every penny. I am not a big review writer, but this makes the drum sound amazing. I would have never thought the original Remo UT batter head was that much of a difference. Unless you like the big cardboard box with a piece of paper taped across it sound, get one of these with the EQ3 resonant and you'll never go back.

I’ve used Evans drum heads for many years. I use them on both my 22 inch and my 24 inch bass drum. They always sound great and are quite durable.

Si quieres mantener un sonido natural, controlando los armónicos, con textura e incluso un punto vintage, y los necesitas en especial para directos o estudio, (aquellos momentos en los que vas a amplificar la batería a través de micrófonos) estos son tus parches. Dentro del mercado estos son los que mejores referencias tienen y no es mentira. va a ser la mejor compra en parches que vas a hacer nunca. (llevo más de 20 años como batería a mis espaldas, se de lo que hablo).

Cette peau est de qualité Premium, elle sonne parfaitement. Le prix est certes plus cher que d'autres peau. Toutefois, il faut prendre en compte que le Package comprend un Patch de protection de peau (vendu de 6 à 10€ à l'unité) ainsi que 2 anneaux en mousse pour l'atténuateur de résonnance. Personnellement j'ai mis le plus gros atténuateur sur ma 22" Tama Royalstar et elle n'a jamais sonné aussi bien ! j'ai même enlevé la serviette à l'intérieur de la grosse caisse. Pour finir je précise que ma peau de résonnance est une Aquarian Regulator.
