BAD FIT!!
The electrical sensor pins in this unit are wrong. The outside of the connector is the correct shape. the pins are wrong. It will not install.

Perfect replacement
I just recently bought one of these a month and a half ago for my TDI Passat fit perfect no issues. I also purchased another one almost two years ago for my Jetta.. that also fit perfectly and has given me no issues since the install.. would definitely recommend this.. one of my OE hose nipples broke off of the 07 Jetta I wish I knew how cheap and easy this was to replace. I would have replaced it before it broke..

Easy way to save money with some DIY-Fu
It fits, it feels the same as the original for better and worse. Installation is straight forward and numerous step by steps out on Youtube. Tool requirements are minimal but be sure you have something that can reach. Be prepared to deal with the coolant and have the right stuff on hand to top the system off. Recommend just getting the pre-mixed certified stuff.

Direct fit, OEM Quality!
The plastic bung for the coolant hose on my original tank snapped, and all the coolant spilled and evaporated off. This was the perfect fit to replace it, the hooks for the wire harness lined right up, along with the taps and the mounting feet. Sturdy construction and the perfect OEM replacement for my 2010 VW. You want a quality replacement that’s also inexpensive? This is it. 10/10

The neck on reservoir is too long for the sensor to meet pins. must remove a half inch off the neck.
The quality and fit on my 2012 VW cc is a Perfect fit. The only issue is where the sensor goes, the male end that's on the replacement reservoir is too long. the pins won't meet. The fix is / cut off a half inch of the plastic neck where the sensor goes. That will allow the sensor to go further down and meet the sensor pins. It's easy and it gets rid of the idiot light on dash. yes, i would recommend this item.
