SteelSeries Apex 7 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – OLED Smart Display – USB Passthrough and Media Controls – Tactile and Clicky – RGB Backlit (Blue Switch)

I've always had Razer brand keyboards before this, starting out with an Ornata Chroma and then the Blackwidow V3. Unfortunately, my Blackwidow began to have issues with registering and muffled switches and their customer service didn't seem to know how how advise me on properly cleaning it more than what I'd already done, so I sought out a more knowledgeable friend than myself who had mechanical keyboard experience and this is the one he recommended to me based on what I wanted (RGB, clicky switches, and the ability to customize keycaps). The blue switches are incredibly precise, tactile and clicky (just how I like it, since I love auditory feedback when typing and gaming). The software driver for SteelSeries has a ton of customization options, and I was pleasantly surprised with all the options it gave as to lighting patterns, lighting responses to key presses, and more. The board itself and the cable feel sturdy and durable, and this is the first time I've liked and used the wrist rest that came with my gaming keyboards. It's a pleasant smooth material and doesn't hinder anything when gaming like the ones I've had in the past. I can now thoroughly enjoy gaming again :) a great board and absolutely worth every penny, I hope to enjoy it for years to come!

WOW this keyboard is nice. I'm in cybersecurity and am constantly on my keyboard. PROs - lighting is great keyboard is metal, doesn't move around AWESOME clicky's are dead on. I got blue and love the sound. cabling is pretty clunky but they have a design behind the keyboard to hold it in place, however you see fit. It's got weight, does not feel cheap at all LED Screen is awesome and customizable cons - I think the only thing with it thats a con and it's really not, is the volume wheel on it.. it doesn't seem as sturdy as I'd like, but it's fine.

I love the matte black keycaps and the feel and tactile feedback of the blue switches. The keyboard looks the part, and is great for typing. My only complaint is it gathers dust quickly, especially the OLED screen. Speaking of the OLED screen, it is great, lots of customization and ease of use. The software is intuitive and straight to the point, and the keyboard itself is just so customizable and fantastic -- I love it! You can sync it with Discord to change a section of the keyboard's RGB when you get notified, and speaking of the RGB it is great, bright, and accurate. The wrist rest is nice and comfortable -- not better than Razer, but still comfortable. The wrist rest also unfortunately gathers dust quickly. It also comes with a USB port on the left side, however you need another USB slot on your device for it to work. Besides dust gathering, this is a near perfect keyboard, I really am in love with it, it's great! Totally recommend.

This keyboard exceeded my expectations. I play a lot of different games for long sessions including mmos so I needed a keyboard that was going to give me more feedback than the one I was currently using. I decided to try out this steelseries one because I am a huge fan of their mouse lineup. This keyboard exceeded my expectations. Pros: - I got the blue keys so they are very clicky and tactile which I love. You can feel an instant press. - The rgb lighting is bright but not too bright with a ton of customizable options - Font on the keyboard is large and easy for me to read - The OLED screen isn’t too extravagant but being able to add a cute little gif is a plus in my book - The scroll wheel by the OLED screen is great for easy volume control - I am a num pad user and despite this keyboard being full sized it’s perfectly compact and organized without too much spacing - the keyboard is metal and very firm, this will not bend or break easily at all Cons: - the wrist rest is comfortable but definitely not plush. It could take some getting used to. - the wrist rest is also rubber and a fingerprint magnet - cord is thick but not braided

This is a really good keyboard, and beat out about 7 others after my Blackwidow Chroma v2 failed. I wanted to find a keyboard with good lighting, volume control, and USB passthrough, and I was surprised that this board exceeded my expectations The keystrokes are light but clicky, with little force required to press them. Less than the BWCV2. Do yourself a favor, and buy pudding caps for this keyboard. Its lighting capability is amazing, and with pudding-stlye (transluscent bottomed) keycaps, it REALLY shines. The matte, magnetic wrist rest they include is really nice, though if Im honest, I'd have preferred a little padding to the hard matte surface if Im going to be doing some writing or gaming on a day off, but it's a very minor complaint.

I love this keyboard - but the switches are not built for intense use. My keyboard has started to fail after moderate use, even after reinstalling the firmware, GG client, etc. The size and ergonomics are reflected accurately in the description. I only took a star off because of the switch failures.

Absolutely LOVE this keyboard. So many options and ways to set up the lighting, different options with the app to record moments and many other things. I used to get the cheap $30 keyboards that worked for a while, but then stopped. Getting this keyboard was an investment for me, that has been fantastic for the last 2 years. The only probably in that time, is the timing for the V key lights is off from the rest of the lights, but I don't look when I type, so it doesn't bother me all that much. I highly recommend this keyboard. Worth every penny!

Excelente teclado. Una muy buena alternativa a marcas populacheras y comunes. PROS . Excelente construcción. No rechina, no tiene ruiditos raros, ensamble muy bueno. , Materiales resistentes. El chasis se siente muy bien. Tiene una textura mate que no va a dejar manchitas de grasa. . Teclas resistentes de PBT que supuestamente es más resistente a que se despinte. (Tuve un hyperx elite RGB y en año se empezaron a despuntar algunas teclas) . Iluminación suave y muchos efectos. . Software de maravilla. Muy personalizable. . Reposa muñeca es muy cómodo. Tiene una textura sensacional. No es acolchado, es duro. Pero se siente suavecito y es magnético. No es un plástico cascarón como el que traen los HYPERX . Canales para enrutar el cable por abajo en 3 posiciones. . Bajo perfil y lijero. Cons. . Esta marca jamás fabricará teclado en español. . Precio! Aunque lo vale... Ojalá fuera más competitivo. . Brillo del RGB. Aunque es muy bonito y tiene un "no sé qué" que se ve más suave parece un poquito menos luminoso. . Cable apenitas del largo suficiente. Ojalá trajera unos 30cm más de cable. . Cable sin protección. No está enmallado en tela como otros. (No se necesita pero se ve más lindo) . No incluye herramienta para sacar las teclas ni teclas WASD en otro color como el HYPERX (no es la gran cosa)

Beautiful 😍 keyboard

Apesar do seu alto valor aqui no Brasil, ele é um teclado conhecido mundialmente. Com toda certeza é um dos melhores teclados existentes atualmente, o switch é perfeito, o descanso que o acompanha é bem confortável, as opções de personalização são absurdas, havendo até compatibilidade com alguns jogos na tela LED dele. Estou com ele a 1 semana e 0 defeitos até o momento, valeu cada centavo!

El teclado esta construido como si fuera un tanque! Muy buena iluminación, los switches cherry blue son un poco ruidosos pero es lo que buscaba, ademas del tactile feedback. El usb pass-thru es util, la rueda para el control de volumen también esta muy bien construida y se siente de calidad y el reposamuñecas es util, aunque no es el mas cómodo. La pantalla es un gimmicky y sinceramente no la utilizo para nada. Una GRAN ventaja sobre otros teclados es que es compatible con PC, MacOS, Xbox y PS4. El único contra que le pondría es el precio ya que creo que debería de costar unos 500 mxn menos, pero definitivamente es un producto de calidad.

Was very happy with this keyboard for the first year and a half but after I found out there's nothing I can do about fixing LED's, all my opinions of this keyboard turned negative. I do love my SteelSeries products, but don't buy this overpriced keyboard which only lasts you a year!
