These provided a great replacement for the old cord on our sennheiser 380. I personally never liked the long coil cord so the shorter non-coiled cord for me is better for my use. I’ve used them now for about 2 months and had no issues.

The original cable for the Sennheisser HD380 has a special molded 1/8"inch L connector, so you can't replace it easily. NewFantasia sells this braid covered cable with the correctly molded fitting 1/8" angled L jack end. It fits well and the jacks are of good quality. The plastic is good quality and doesn's smell bad. So I feel safe using this cable. But the lack of spring-coil cable means that in the studio or when listening to the laptop or other gear which is not bolted down, waking away can be catastrophic, not to mention putting more pressure on the jack connectors. I wish NewFantasia made a spring-coiled version. Also the cable feels a bit thin so maybe the gauge of the wire is thinner than the original. For now it's a good replacement, but I'm looking for the spring-coiled thicker option.

...Theres no coiled version like the original Sennheissers. Also...the color is not particularly beautiful. Its red and black...but so tightly woven that at a distance it doesn't look like anything...maybe dark brown? I wish it was all black so it matches with the headphones...but these are small cosmetic gripes. Sound quality has been amazing. Connectors seem high quality and very robust.

Works exactly as it should, feels good, and makes the cable straight if you don’t want to use the stock coiled one. I just wish it was half a foot longer.

My headphones were nearly unusable since the factory, coiled cable had gotten so unpleasant to deal with. This cable has proven to be a great replacement for it, that's made me happy to use my headphones again. The headphones-side connection is robust, and fits tightly unlike my old factory cable. However, I have one slight gripe with this cable--it's still prone to getting twisted. The braided exterior keeps whatever shape it's twisted into instead of "relaxing" to a straight shape. Subsequently, I'll often find little loops in my cable after picking up my headphones and setting them back down a few times. This issue isn't a dealbreaker, but it is a bit annoying still; I wish I could find "loose" replacement cables for these headphones that don't loop up.

Noticed no difference from stock cord, stock cord is coiled and too long in my opinion, this was perfect length

The original cables for my Sennhesier HD 380 Pro were heavy so I bought the NewFantasia ones and it improved my headphones as it became much much lighter and also didn't feel like it was being pulled from the left side like with the original ones. Great sound quality too. Got 6 pairs of 380 pro for movies but I only bought 3 cables. Will be ordering more in the future. Thank you.

Worked like the original for fit and function, then the headsets died some months after, can't be usre if it's the wire or something else...

Very easy to install. Nice and hard wearing good quality.

Have had it for a couple weeks now and it seems to work perfectly with my Sennheiser HD 380 Pro headphones. A huge shame that Sennheiser stopped selling replacements parts.

Whilst the connectors are ok the cable isn't. Any sort movement of the cable results in noise being transmitted through the headphones. Merely running your fingers along the cable results in audible noise through the headphones. Tbh, given the other reviews it's difficult to believe that this cable isn't faulty.
