Potter Malt Extract and Cod Liver Oil 650g

I lived in England until I was 10, then moved to America. My Nan used to give us this, it was called "Radio Malt" at the time. I loved it as a kid and always remember her twirling a spoon of this stuff and giving us the spoon. Never seen it in America and never tasted it since...but, I remembered :) On a nostalgic whim, I started searching the internet for a taste of my childhood and came across this. It wasn't called "Radio Malt" and damned if I remember it having Cod Liver Oil in it, but it must have. Because this tastes exactly as I remember. Never even thought of asking about the ingredients as a Kid. All I knew is a loved the taste and it was supposed to be good for you. Now the carbs are not as bad as I first thought. I only use about 1/2 teapoon, maybe 10 grams, and that's less that 10 grams of carbs. So, not great, but if you don't over indulge it's manageable. And 1/2 teaspon is all I need :) Product took about 2 weeks to get here and I had to sign for it. It was "registered." We weren't here when they tried to deliver it and had to go to post office to pick it up. Packaged very well. I don't know how good it is for you, but I was more interested in the taste and experience of it. And it's exactly as I remember. So, 5 stars. -SF

This is an excellent product my dad is from the UK and swears by it says when he was sick as a child his mum gave him a spoonful of this and said "it cures what ails ya". He still says that himself and I guess it really works because he's almost 80 and still running triathlons and is on zero medications and has no health issues.

I love this Cod Liver Oil from England . I use to take Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil from England also , until they discontinued it's production . I was devastated . So I began to search for a substitute . Then I found this Brand , Potters Herbals . This was just as good if not better than the one I use to use ! It has a slightly sweet taste of Malt & it's in a bigger Glass Container 650 Grams Even though I don't mind a fishy taste or smell this product has no taste or smell of fish . This Company has existed for over 100 years . We all know the benefits of CLO for Brain health , Cardio Vascular & Joint Health etc .. Plus it has the right balance of Vitamin A & Omega 3 . You do not need to take Mega Doses of this stuff . Especially if you take other Omega 3/6 I just take about a Teaspoon . The only downsize is it's not readily available . Since it's imported you have to order it well in advance . Don't wait to order it when you run out . Try and order it 3 - 4 weeks ahead of time .

I was born in the 50's. My mom gave this to us before school to prevent contagious Winter colds - we rarely caught colds. In 2016 I developed a persistent nasty chesty cough that was of valid concern, even though I never felt sick. I suddenly remembered this product & within a week of taking it my coughing went away. After I ran out the coughing returned. Now I'm permanently on it & the coughing has never returned. I've always liked its taste. It was cheap in South Africa - sold nationwide in large food chains (imported from the UK). We need a USA bulk importer because shipping individual bottles from the UK is not cost effective. This should be smartly marketed as a healthy respiratory system support product - come to think of it the pain in my finger joints is also 98% alleviated (not sure if its this or also the Evening Primrose Oil I take a few hours after supper with this).

The seal was missing but I took my chances...Only today i happened to see the fine print which advised me not to use if the seal was broken....I'm a little nervous but I do love the product07/10/2021 received this product yesterday taste the same as when I was young nothing's changed,,,,A very good product

Excellent but need to put more wrapping paper around jar will order more on a regular basis. I highly recommend this product

I bought this for my 90 year old mother. She said her mother used to give this to her when she was a child. She said it tasted just as delicious as it did when she was a child! She felt that it helped keep her and her siblings healthy when they were children. I am so pleased that this helped to bring back wonderful childhood memories for her. I tasted it myself, and honestly it was okay, I wouldn't say delicious but considering it was cod liver oil, it went down pretty easily. I wouldn't consider it dessert like my mother does, but I would eat it for the health benefits. It was part of my mother's childhood so I think that is why it was so special to her.

My parents used to get this from my school some 60+ years ago in the UK. Obviously i'm not sure if this is the same manufacture but it sure tastes the same as i remember. In my teens i have fallen off rooftops trees and ladders where i should have broken bones but remained very much unscathed except for some cuts and bruises. I attribute this to my daily small bottle of milk ( also supplied by my school) and a daily helping of Cod-liver Oil and Malt. The bottle i received today has an expiration date of 2021 so i have ordered 12 more bottles to save on shipping costs.

Tastes the same as when, I was a Child.. Excellent Product ,Excellent Taste, for Health.

Potter's Cod Liver Oil and Malt has been a staple of my entire family, 8 siblings, since I was a very young child. I enjoyed it then and I still do. A spoonful a day and I'm on my way. I feel better after each use.

Use this product as a daily nutritional supplement. My Mum gave it to us daily when were children. Tastes just as I remembered. Excellent product...very pleased with the product.🙂 NOT so pleased with condition it was received, though I am sure the blame does not lie with you but with customs. Each jar (all three of them, individually packaged) had been opened then a very miserable attempt had been made at re-sealing to prevent leakage. Each jar had leaked product all through internal packaging and the individual boxes they were packed in. They were a sticky mess. Upon opening (after cleaning product off outside of jars and lids), two jars were only approx 3/4 full, the other about 1/2..the box and packaging layered with the remainder.

This product is made of malt extract syrup combined with cod liver oil fortified with Vitamin A, D and E. It tastes 😊 . I had no side effects or after taste.
