Design Toscano Themis, Blind Justice Bonded Marble Statue

Toscano products are always high quality, and this is no exception. It is bonded marble instead of molded resin, meaning that marble dust was added to the mix, giving it more weight and a finer appearance. The added weight is a bonus for small statues such as this, which otherwise would be prone to tipping over. Mine arrived in perfect condition and the gold paint is immaculate, giving a nice contrast to the solid white figure. It sits on a three inch base, which fit perfectly on my window ledge, along with two other statues with the same size base and approximate same height. Blind Justice sits in the center, balancing the other two ladies from Greek mythology.

This is a fantastic piece. The golden aspects are very well done - almost impeccable. There are no noticeable inconsistencies about the paint job itself. Also, the golden paint is, indeed, golden and not yellow. It is a little gaudy as real gold is not so shiny, but truly it does not detract from the essence of it. The bonded marble and resin is sturdy and looks fantastic. The price is great especially considering the nice golden paint.

This is the 5th product I purchase from Design Toscano and they never disappoint. I bought this as a gift for my husband and I can tell you this will make any lawyer incredibly happy. The meaning behind the statue represents the core values of justice or what it’s supposed to be but on top of that, the quality and looks of it is just mesmerizing. The details in gold and really beautiful. I highly recomend this product.

Bought this for a gift for a lawyer friend. She’s beautiful and very detailed. I love the accents of the gold. She was packaged well and shipped without incident. I read prior reviews there is something confusing about putting her together; gave the heads up to my friend and she came together well. I really want to get one for me now.

This gift was perfect for my mother. She always wanted this as a gift and but I could never find it in stores. This girft brought my mother tears of joy. It looks just like the picture and was package perfectly and wasn't broken at all. I will order another one very soon. Great 🙂🙂🙂🙂

The item is as picture. The balance is made of some kind of metal; while the other gold parts are painted. The gold pigment is shiny like real metal; so the appearance is gorgeous. The form and figure of the Lady Justice is like that of a barbie. Plus, the dress is quite exposed. If this statue is made life-size and stand anywhere, people will admire her beauty more than her fairness.

Purchased for my sister who just became a Commissioner. She loves it. Great size and wonderful detail. It is proudly displayed in her office. Protected from the cleaning crew 😀 I would say it is fragile and should be kept out of reach.

Elegant, well-made and good value for money. It's not going to have a place in the Uffizi in Florence, but it's a lovely figure for lawyers and those who care about the rule of law (are we a dwindling community these days?) and I'm very glad I bought it. I'd intended it for my office but it's so good instead it's the centre-piece of my white marble mantelpiece, before my gilt-framed mirror. The colours are perfect. Very very elegant. I might just buy another one for the office. I enjoy looking at it. I read one negative review which said you can't attach the scales without breaking the marble hand. Duh! The top of the scales has a pommel on a screw thread. Unscrew the pommel, put the narrow bit of the scales through the hand, and then rescrew the pommel onto the top of the scales. It's a twenty-second process which even stressed-out lawyers can work out and accomplish with ease. Right, now I really am going to buy another one. And if they did a six-foot one, I'd get one for the hallway, or the garden.

Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo: articolo poco ingombrante, che dà all'ambiente un tono di eleganza e raffinatezza. Il prodotto, nelle sue linee e nei dettagli, è ancora meglio dal vivo che in foto. Consigliato.
