Universal Adapter (DA100)

Seems to work really well so far. I'm using it on my Macbook Pro and seems to be handling all my devices without issue or any slowdowns. I didn't think it worked at first, but after doing some digging I was able to find the drivers for it at DisplayLinsk's web site (http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/mac_downloads.php). Once I got the driver installed, everything came right up. I currently have my Ethernet cable, backup hard drive, and monitor plugged into it. For my next trick I'm going to plug a USB hub into it to see if I can add more devices to it. We are considering purchasing these instead of the Belkin Thunderbolt Docks - $70 versus $200.

Awesome device. It can run multiple monitors as well which is not shown. Love that it does not need a individual power source. I use this on an XPS 13.

Couldn't get it to work.

I have 5 of these for my Team, all using Surface Pro 3 and 4s. They work as described and I have never had an issue - and they make port extension dongles so you don't have to cut any display cables. This is the best one I have found so far. That said, I would love 2 HDMI version, who uses VGA anymore and 1 more USB port - so could stand it to be thicker. I have to run a USB port replicator off of this adapter for mouse, headset etc.

Really expanses connectivity. I love it! NOTE: it does seem to impact the port you chose to use it on. After the software is installed sometimes the port does not respond to other cables.

I bought this for traveling with my Dell laptop. It offers HDMI, VGA, USB 2.0, and gigabit Ethernet in a small package. My main issue is that the flat little cable used to connect the device to the laptop is only about 1.5 inches. It's also kind of flat. The upshot is that there's a lot of cabling bunched and tangled up next to your laptop. This makes connections difficult. What's worse is that (on my machine at least) the USB port it uses is right next to another HDMI & USB port. A few more inches of cable would make a huge ergonomic difference. But, it works.

This is a must for anyone who travels. This takes 4 products and puts them into one small device. Great great product. Good job Dell

I bought this specifically for the Ethernet adapter since my Dell Inspiron 5528 did not come with one onboard. The HDMI and VGA ports worked fine, but the the Ethernet port did not. Checking in Device Manager, it showed that it didn't have a driver file for the Dell Gigabit Ethernet. I downloaded the DisplayLink driver file again from the Dell Driver Download site per the instructions and reinstalled, but to no avail. I uninstalled the device and started the whole process over and still "no driver file for this device found". What a complete waste of about 3 hours.

Muy buen accesorio, funcionó sin problema con mi laptop Dell. Muy practico accesorio, además el tamaño y cable está muy bien hecho para adaptarse a laptops delgadas, todos los puertos funcionaron bien, lo que mas necesitaba para el trabajo era el puerto ethernet y ha funcionado muy bien, antes había probado con otros adaptadores patito y no jalaban o daban problemas con el driver, este funcionó a la primera y no ha dado ningún problema.

Perfecto. Es muy util, no requiere drivers y es cómodo. Yo lo quería oara compartir pantalla con otro televisor, sin necesidad de sonido, y he acabado sacándole bastante más partido que ese.

Assolutamente perfetto. Su Windows 10 si installa da solo velocissimamente e ha sia uscita HDMI che VGA più porta di rete e una USB (2.0) replicata. Una manna sul mio Surface che ha una sola USB 3.0. Ne ho un'altro attaccato a un notebook HP sempre con win10: prefetto anche lì.
