I love this skin so much. I got it to cover a couple of blemishes on the lid of my ThinkPad T16. Easy to apply. Take your time if you want nice neat edges (I didn't). The design works perfectly with my laptop; I cut it so I can see the little red sleep/power indicator light.

I just purchased a new laptop. For the past few years I had a pink Dell laptop and was used to a little "color" over the boring gray/black laptops I had before. The new laptop had great features and terrific ratings from other owners and an excellent price to match. The only drawback was that the only color it came in was a black/gray /silver combo that was , well,depressing. I know that some manufacturers sell snap on covers in a variety of colors and patterns, but this company did not appear to have or offer anything like that and I really could not afford something very expensive. I searched through Amazon and these items came up. They are as stated "Laptop Notebook Skin/Sticker Cover Art. There are several different designs and patterns. As stated they can be cut down to several sizes with the "grid" printed on the back. Even though I had been notified that they would not be delivered until 7/12-7/19 I was pleasantly surprised to receive it yesterday 7/7. My new laptop is 17.3" and it came up as that size with my search, but it also states that it fits sizes between 16.5"-19 inch HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Compaq and I am pretty sure most other brands. I really didn't know exactly what the "Free Wrist Pad" was, but it is an additional skin that is placed on the pointer pad area. Make sure you are careful in what direction you want the skin. We placed it so that when the cover is up and I am using the laptop, the picture is right side up.The material surface is similar to a placemat and can be wiped clean if need be. When searching, please note that the one I purchased is $5.98 + shipping and is sold by Meffort Inc. There is others that seem to be the same type but more expensive. I AM ADJUSTING MY REVIEW ABOUT THE PRODUCT ONLY 7/13/12 **********SELLER REMAINS VERY GOOD. After using skin on computer for a while I noticed a few things about the skin itself that I felt that I should pass on. As you can see on product page, the title is as follows: 17.3" LAPTOP NOTEBOOK SKIN STICKER COVER ART DECAL FITS 16.5", 17", 18.4" 19" HP DELL.......When I originally placed the order, I thought that the SKIN on that particular description page WAS for a 17.3" laptop and the listing of other sizes was to let prospective buyers that those OTHER skin sizes were also available. When I received the package the first thing I did was to place the skin over the top of my notebook. I then noticed that the dimensions were too large for a 17.3 laptop cover. I turned it to reverse and found a big lined grid with tiny indications of size to be cut to and different indications of other sizes printed very tiny in the corner. I decided to ignore all this and and look at the positives. My adult daughter with a steadier hand would cut along the lines perfectly. With that step complete we decided to make sure about placement before taking backing off. The horizontal direction turned out to be too short and when positioned in center there was approx. one inch on each side, so it appears to be like a table runner. The vertical direction was too long and after being forced to trim a bit off (no lines for that), we placed it and whenever I open the cover, my finger catches on the edge.I originally thought that I was just being picky but after getting some feedback from friends and relatives, I feel vindicated. You might think that the price should have a tip off, but I have purchased covers for my cell phones for years that are VERY inexpensive and the same quality as the cell phone provider is charging WAY more for. A few friends were over and stated that it DOES "look cheap," but had it been laser cut by the manufacturer it would cover the entire top to fit exactly,. much like the well made screen protectors.If you don't care about the "cut to fit" installation this may be for you. My suggestion to manufacturer would be to make skins CUSTOM MADE FOR EACH SIZE. To the seller I would suggest that 17.3" NOT BE THE FIRST WORD OF THE DESCRIPTION and indicate that the fit is "Do It Yourself and NOT PROFESSIONALLY PRE-CUT TO SIZE COVER. This type of product is fine for a Nintendo DS, but not for an expensive electronics. Since my laptop is only a couple of weeks old, I pray that this sticker will come right off AND not leave glue behind! I did not contact the seller because there is nothing he can really do and I am not blaming him for anything but a little "poor wording" on the header, which is why a gave them four stars instead of five. There was another product similar to this in Amazon, but I stayed away thinking that the price was too high for a sticker type vs an actual snap on cover. I have been on HP looking for the kind of "Snap On Lid" like Dell and a few other computer companies make to their laptops, but found nothing.

Went shopping for a laptop skin and checked all the usual places then came to Amazon. One of these days I will learn to just come here first and save myself some time! I ordered this skin after reading the reviews here, figured that for the price I would not be out too much if it was not the best quality. Pleasant surprise! Not only did the laptop skin and matching mouse pad arrive before the delivery date, but they were well packed and arrived without wrinkles or damage. The skin is heavy weight and has a texture to it, but it does not impact the design at all. The back of the skin has cutting lines for you to cut to fit your laptop. The skin cut easily with a scissors, leaving a nice clean edge. My laptop measures 15 x 13 so I had to cut the skin down a bit, but the design remained largely unaffected. The back pealed off easily, and the skin attached to the laptop without any issue at all. It seems sticky enough to hold well and take some abuse without peeling off any time soon - but it did lift easy on the initial application to allow for a repositioning without any issue at alll. I also purchased the matching mousepad and it is really pretty. The quality of the print is outstanding on both the skin and mousepad. So, long story short...for the money this was an excellent buy both from the standpoint of quality, appearance and price.

I spend a lot of time in/out of doctor's offices and hospitals, I put this on so that I would notice my laptop and not forget it. I've had more doctors tell me that they loved it! It really makes my laptop stand out and it is super easy to clean! I only used the cover but it is holding up very well! A little complicated to cut due to rounded corners on my laptop, however I was able to figure it out quickly!

wonderful enhancement to my laptop, its durable, wipes clean! Easy to install.

The skins don't last long if you have nails. My nails rub off the letters. I have to buy a new one every few months. I do like them for keeping my keyboard clear.

Awesome laptop skin, thought this would be another scam but turns out it wasn't, I got my skin and my 2 wrist pads as they mentioned in the description. Loving my skin. Definitely would recommend

A bit difficult to get on perfectly. Use a ruler and a cutter for best results.
