Finally I found the perfect rotating heat iron. Such an improvement over my last two. I love that it rotates only when you press the button, that you can easily change rotation direction without having to stop curling, that you can choose the heat (my hair is thin so under 300 degrees for me) , and that the "bristles" are more durable and thicker which took meminutes to adjust to. They call it a hair straightener (!) but I used it to get soft curls. If you put a product in your hair for shine (I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum or Ion Mitracle Summer Spray, the iron works even better, and your hair looks wonderful. Super find for me. BTW, WHAT is going on with people leaving "reviews" in which they say they haven't used the product yet??? And what has happened to Amazon's search engine? They give you what they want you to look at, not what you are looking for! I understand why shipping has gotten a little crazy (employee shortages) but I wish they would go back to giving us the searches we want rather than the ones they want us to see. Also if on my iPhone, there is no way to seach by price. Only on a lap or desktop can one choose that. Don't get me wrong. I love the convenience of Amazon but the search problem is infuriating and shows indifference to what customers want.

This curling iron blew my expectations!!! I had a smaller sized barrel beachwaver and wanted the bigger 1.25 but didn't want to spend the $$$. I saw this iron, took a chance and now it's my favorite curling iron!I thought it was very comparable to the beachwaver:1. The rotating barrel was easy to learn, especially if you already learned from other similar products. The rotating mechanism seems to be sturdy so I think it will last for a long time2. Lasting power of the curl! Held the curl in my thick hair all day!3. It has the Tourmaline Ceramic coating which the same as the Pro Beachwaver! My curls come out shiny and soft.4. It's also DUAL VOLTAGE! Not many brands offer that so that's a big plus in my book.The only wish I could ask for is a home button like the other rotating barrel. Not a big con but would be a great upgrade!Definitely recommend for anyone wanting fast and easy beach curls and wanting a great dupe of the beachwaver!

This works great. A larger barrel which I needed. Did not burn. My hair has multiple, temperature settings.I need a larger barrel, auto turn. And this works great. My only complaint is it will not work on small thin sections of hair. You need to use thicker sections if that makes sense. And it does not have a return to home button like my smaller barrel one does. And that I don’t care for. But it makes beautiful curls that are more of a bounce wave curl versus my smaller one that makes a tighter curl. Curls hold all day for me. I use a texture spray to hold comes in a nice box. I have not used it a little attachment for the curl out yet.

I missed the 30-day return window for the curling iron by two days, so I guess I’ll just keep it and write a terrible review to try to help others. This thing is a complete pain in the butt to use. It works fine, while it’s on. But, it turns itself off spontaneously every 20 to 30 seconds. So, as you’re curling, you have to do a long press on the power button to force it back on every time it turns off. The whole point of getting an automatic curling iron is that one that doesn’t turn itself takes me an hour to curl my back length hair and I thought this would be so much quicker but the pain in the butt of turning it back on with every curl means it’s not much better. The hilarious thing is there’s a video under help for this product which says if you’re curling iron spontaneously turns off leave it off for a half an hour before you turn it back on. Even if you do that it still turns off every 20 seconds. Maybe it’s a fluke with mine and some of these things work but I wouldn’t chance it if I were you. And if you decide to buy it anyway and have the same issue, make sure you don’t miss that 30 day return window.

The twister is too small for my hair and I believe for any hair.

I kept seeing ads for the famous beachwaver curler all over Facebook but didn't want to pay the premium. Found this amazing dupe and omg it's a GAME CHANGER! Achieved beautiful beach waves in 5 minutes and this was just a quickie where I focused mostly on the ends of my hair. It looks even better when I take the time to curl all the way to the top (it takes a while usually just because my hair is so long and I usually need several passes to get the top more voluminous no matter what tool I use). For a fraction of the price I am incredibly impressed! It's so easy to use and I love the cute pink color too :) It comes with a hair brush looking thingy but I haven't used that (tbh not entirely sure how to use it either - I bought this because I needed a new curler)!

OMG!! If you were looking for a dupe for the very expensive beachw**** ...Then this is it !!I love everything about it ...it does not feel cheap it’s got a good weight to it the less the metal is steady it feels like an expensive hair product and I use it on my daughters hair and the curls are amazing the only thing that I would change is the temperature only goes up to 200 and something I would love it to go up to like 400 for hard to manage thick hair.. But other than that this is my go to everything for my hair and it cuts doing your hair in half curling wise and the price is appreciated. Things don’t have to be so expensive that other people can’t afford it so companies that actually sell stuff that’s good that you can afford is a nice breath of fresh air! Thank you!

Purchased Nov 2023- use it occasionally (roughly twice a week) for quick touch ups. Today I plugged in as normal - it heated up- and I lifted it to curl my hair ans it went POP POP POP- & sparks and pieces blew off it! It blew my GFI outlet in bathroom and when I came home tonight I noticed the cord is completely split from the iron. It did work good while I had it - but just wanted others to be aware! If I would have lifted and got it up to my hair- I could’ve been injured from the pieces that flew off.
