We use this to separate our 2 yellow labs from sitting area in the family room. It is a very nice looking gate and works perfectly for wide areas. The locking door is easy to use and so much easier than trying to hurdle those old plastic gates. Also, it's easy enough to swing the gate around and box the dogs in if we need to keep them contained momentarily. We'll worth the price. No complaints. Sturdiness may be questionable if you have it free standing or intend to have it perfectly straight across an opening. Ours aligns with an accent chair which gives some extra support and we have it slightly kinked at the hinges to sturdy it. It does come with two cross supports, but I would order the extra ones if your concerned about it standing.

I’ve had a few of the 24” widen free standing gates and they have worked great and held up great. Our new puppy has gotten too big for those and can now jump over them. Knowing the brand is good quality I decided to try this one. So glad I did. It’s absolutely perfect for my space and the height is perfect. It came packaged/protected very well. It is quite heavy but manageable. The two latches for the door are packaged separately and very easy to attach. Took e less than 5 minutes with a basic screw driver. I found laying it out flat on the floor made this very easy. I used part of one of the older gates as a divider to her potty pad which just helps to force her onto it. I also love the color as it matches my decor very well. Some people were worried about the hinges being too small but they feel quite sturdy and the whole unit feels very stable. I absolutely love the fact that these hinges let you fold the panels either way depending on how you want to set it up. Just know that the gate or door does only swing one direction and doesn’t find back flat against the other panels but does open quite wide. It’s nice that it also comes with two “feet” for stability. With the location I have it in I just didn’t need that but it’s nice to have them for the future if needed. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend!

My wife and I examined many different similar products before deciding on this item. We are very pleased we bought it. The item came very well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with strongly-taped corners and edges. The fence comes assembled, which is terrific! Inside the box, styrofoam sheets and pieces protected the item along with small cardboard and pieces of sponge to keep the pieces of the fence well protected during shipping! Ours came intact with no damage via USPS--amazingly still no damage. The fence is nice looking with the white trim and black wiring and silver hinges/hardware. Right out of the box, the fence unfolds easily and each section can fold forward and backward making it easy to bend it where you need it as a fence or in two shapes as a fenced-in area--octagon or rectangle. These are big panels and thus the box is big. This is 12 feet of fencing, too, so the box will be a little heavy for some, but not too bad overall. What helps it not be too heavy, compared to some similar products, is the thin thickness (depth) of each panel, so it folds up into a smaller space than other products that have each panel measuring in at 4-inches deep! The smaller thickness does not seem to be a problem at all in terms of quality or what works, so we're glad we picked this option. Also, the panels are 30 inches tall and 24 inches wide, so it helps keep small children and probably most dogs contained--except for dogs who can jump 30 inches or who might ram the fence. There are two support pieces for the fence (and the bottom of each is covered with a soft, protecting pad to avoid scuffing your floor), but they won't be strong enough to keep the fence from being pushed or knocked over with sufficient force when the fence is set up end-to-end. They are sufficient for normal bracing, however. We have our fence spanning an opening of about 9 feet with some parts of the end panels braced behind the refrigerator and a piece of furniture in the corner of the dining room. That gives it plenty of strength. The fence will move back and forth as you pass through or touch it since it's not locked into the ground, but that's not the purpose of this fence and therefore not an issue. You might want some self-stick felt pads at different spots on the bottom of the fence in spots if it rubs against your wood or tile floor to avoid any potential damage. Some others, I believe, wrote reviews that the screws for the two latches weren't sufficient, but that's not what we found. You only have to put on the two latches with four, small screws, which is pretty easy. However, I wish the starter holes for each screw were a bit deeper as it's hard to get them started. I found it easier to use a manual screwdriver rather than my electric one. It's hard to put the screws in with the fence standing, so if you can lay open the fence with the gate part against the hard floor, you'll find it easier to put them in, I think. Once in, the latches work great and we only use the top one to keep the puppies in the kitchen/dining room, making it easy for us to go in and out using just one latch. The gate opens only in one direction. It is not a swinging gate that goes both ways. Not an issue--but just so you know. However, the gate does open 180 degrees so it can lay flat against one side of the fence rather than sticking out at a 45 degree angle making a traffic hazard. A great feature! We're enjoying it and it came quicker than predicted, which was very nice. We can recommend this product highly. It will help keep grandchildren or your own little ones safe and out of the kitchen during the holidays--depending on how big your area is. Enjoy!

Fantastic gate. I have a Pug and a Giant Schnoodle this gate is perfect. I have a large opening between my living room and the rest of my home, this covers it with room to spare. I love how strong it is and it looks nice. It's ready/easy to carry and even stands without the feet on it. I travel with it also as my Pug is a door scratcher. It's so nice, my daughter just bought one for her Golden Mix. I highly recommend this gate for your fur baby!

We needed to fence off a portion of our living room for our pet bunny. The area was however very wide and not many gates could accommodate the odd shape required. This gate is wide enough and I like the fact that it's sturdy enough without having to drill holes into our walls. It's also flexible; we can alter it further should the need arise.

I put it outside my apartment door to mark out an area for my dog to roam without encroaching into neighbour’s territory and realised it also works as a barrier to strangers who may wander into my private space 👍😂

The wood started to expand even with very little moisture and the latches rust!!!!!!!! I am using for what it is intended to have an enclosure for dogs....... I want REFUND...... Amazon I paid so much and I want my money refunded if you have any consideration for customer satisfaction
