Hape Early Melodies - Vibrant Red Guitar Music Set

My son watched as my hub played the guitar and was absolutely enthralled. We got this for him for Christmas and he loves it! It is very well made and withstanding my toddler quite well. I love the strap and how well it replicates an adult guitar.

My 3 year old son saw this guitar in a local store a couple months before Christmas. Ever since, he'd been talking about how all he wanted was "his red guitar." I happened upon a daily deal in December for certain Hape toys and, lo and behold, there was my son's red guitar! Well, the price couldn't be beat, so I bought it immediately! The guitar comes pre-strung with an extra set of strings, two over-sized red picks (perfect for small hands just learning how to strum and pick the strings) and an adjustable shoulder strap, perfect for the preschool to early elementary crowd. It tunes up well, though the pegs do have a tendency to slip easily. The sound quality is much better than other toy guitars geared towards children in the same price bracket. (The keyword here is "toy." While this toy is a great introduction to the guitar and how to play the instrument, if you are looking at seriously teaching your child to play the guitar, this is probably not the product for you.) There was some bubbling in the paint on the back of the body on the guitar we received. It's a bit rough and may eventually peel. Really, though, this is my only complaint. This product has brought my son countless hours of enjoyment and it's been quite rewarding seeing his love of music grow while strumming his toy guitar.

Half of the strings are plastic and not very sturdy. Good for very young kids. Cute design.

This was a Christmas gift for a 6 almost 7 year old. This was by far his favorite gift. He carried it around and played it all day. Extremely well made, would definately recommend this if your on the fence.

Won't even stay in tune for 2 days when carefully played with. Beautiful and made my kiddo happy. Wish I had gotten mine free for a review but I paid for mine. I don't know how all these people got a free one to review.

It is a beautiful pretend guitar, but the sound of it is just horrible. you cannot play it as guitar at all, unless you just want to play it as a toy. I will go for a real kid guitar.

Really nicely made and nice sound for a "toy" - my 9 year old loves it and my 6 and 2 year old do too, with some supervision.

This is a great TOY guitar. Based on some other reviews I was thinking we were getting something worthy of guitar lessons for our 7 year old. We'll definitely have to get her something different for that.

Die Gitarre wurde sich sehnlichst gewünscht und war daher ein Weihnnachtsgeschenk für unser 3,5 jähriges Kind. Waren überrascht von der guten Qualität und sauberen Verarbeitung von Hape. Die Saiten halten dem wilden Gitarrenspiel bisher stand und sind auch immer wieder nachstellbar. Eine sehr gute Spielzeuggitarre für kleine Kinder. Lediglich der schwarze Neoprengurt roch nach dem auspacken etwas chemisch, aber der Geruch war nach einpaar Tagen komplett verflogen. Können Sie trotzdem weiter empohlen.

J'ai offert cette guitare à ma fille (7 ans). Elle était RA-VIE. La taille lui convient parfaitement. L'accoustique est très bonne. La guitare est arrivée en un seul morceau et prête à l'emploi. Elle l'a immédiatement adopté. ça fait même super plaisir à voir. En fait, j'avais juste oublié un truc : les cours de solfège, de guitare et les partitions... Vous allez très vite comprendre pourquoi. Vous vous attendiez à entendre "Jeux interdits" dans votre maison le soir en rentrant du bureau après une journée épuisante. En réalité, vous aurez des tentatives de reprises hurlées des gipsy king avec une tentative de rapprochement avec le morceau d'origine. Après Noël je réquisitionne en l'absence de promesse de cours de guitare.

My 4 year old son was begging, pleading, hoping, wishing and praying for this guitar. My husband and I got this for him and my goodness did he light up. It is quite a sturdy guitar, the strings are actual proper guitar strings and it holds its tune decently. Definitely had to tune it when though, it sounded dreadful to begin with. Here's to hoping he doesn't want a drum set next!

Destinée à des enfants âgés entre 4 et 9 ans, cette guitare classique (ou espagnole) leur permet de s'initier à cet instrument à cordes. Son faible prix évite de dépenser trop d'argent dans une vraie guitare si l'enfant abandonne l'apprentissage au bout de quelques mois. Les couleurs originales plairont à l'enfant : marron clair au niveau de la caisse (le corps) et du manche, puis rouge alizarine pour le chevalet, la tête, l'éclisse et le fond. La conception et le fonctionnement sont strictement identiques à un "vrai" modèle pour adulte, la seule différence se situe au niveau des dimensions plus restreintes de l'instrument, adaptées à la taille de l'enfant et de ses mains. La caisse de résonance remplit sa mission et les sons produits sont agréables et fidèles à ceux des ainées. Ce n'est pas un jouet, même si la finition est plutôt grossière et ne rivalise certainement pas avec celle d'un vrai modèle à 300€, mais vu le prix, c'est tout à fait correct. Je l'ai offerte à mon neveu de 6 ans qui a adoré ma démonstration. En effet, j'ai pu moi aussi y jouer plusieurs morceaux, les seuls obstacles ont été la taille des touches pour le placement des doigts pour certains accords et les arpèges. Elle est livrée dans une jolie boîte avec une sangle noire, 2 gros médiators rouges et une corde de rechange. Un sympathique livret d'accompagnement donne des instructions utiles pour bien débuter la guitare : ses caractéristiques, comment la régler, comment pincer les cordes, comment lire les notations et les tablatures, comment la tenir, comment placer les mains, comment attacher la sangle et comment changer les cordes. C'est une agréable petite guitare pour enfant. J'aurais adoré m'initier à la guitare très jeune (je l'ai fait qu'à mes 14 ans) avec cet article.
