Great roller
Great for rolling out my back. Use it daily.

I LOVE
It gets in really deep and as an athlete my muscles are always really tight and you can use this on your glutes or back and I just love it so much and it’s so much worth it and better than a foam roller

Compare to SKLZ, this is much firmer
I’m writing this review because I could not find anything online comparing this product to the SKLZ Universal Massage Roller. Visually, these products are identical except in color (identical size and even identical mold/ridge patterns). I bought both to compare and can confirm this is true. However, the products do differ in firmness of the products. This black roller is much firmer than the red/SKLZ roller. I have not decided which I prefer more, and may in fact keep both since this black roller is too firm for some very painful areas I have struggled with for years, and the red roller is too soft for areas where I put full weight and cause compression. I just wanted to answer the question of whether these two peanut rollers are identical in case anyone else had the same question as me, and I can confirm they are NOT identical in terms of firmness. Get this one if you prefer firmer, or get the SKLZ if you prefer softer. Cheers!

Works great
Used it the first time on my back and - crack crack crack! It was great. I’ve used 2 tennis balls in a sock before & this is bigger than that. Also helped crack more. Immediate relief when I stood up and my hips felt more aligned. I’m definitely not regretting my purchase at all. In posting 1 pick on social media, I’ve referred 3 people in 3 days. Wish there was a way to get a referral bonus!!

Life Altering!
I was a massage therapist for decades, still do Tuina therapy. One night, recently, the pattern of tension in my right upper back from years of one sided sports massage on pro runners flared so bad I could hardly deal. I worked it out as best I could, stretched, guasha'd what I could reach, foam rolled, etc but it nagged so unceasingly that I started searching Amazon for something to use when it's not feasible to get a massage, like a Thursday night at 10pm. This contraption has been more effective than any tool I've ever used. It quite hard and hurts to use at first. I like super deep pressure so that's not a problem for me but might be for others. I might recommend positioning yourself with the roller under your upper back and a pillow to lie your head on, clasp hands behind head like sit up position, knees bent for stability, then slowly lower yourself back. The pillow will decrease the intensity of the curvature in the spine that the roller creates so you can relax more and ease into it, staying this way until you feel completely relaxed into the roller, then remove the pillow. I have had virtually no tension in my upper back since the first time I used the roller and just purchased a 2nd one for a birthday gift. Can't say enough good things about it. The only issue I have is that I'm on the smaller side and I think a 6 or 7 inch roller would have sufficed.

Too hard and slides on the floor instead of rolling
This massager is too hard. And this not makes it very uncomfortable while you use it, by also because the material is so hard it slides unless you use it on a mat that provides traction. So there are limit surfaces you can use it on.

Can’t say enough good things. I love this peanut roller.
Phenomenal tool for rolling out the spine and any musculature The 5”diameter at 8” length works fantastic for anterior segments, ribs as well as soothing and releasing muscles before or post workouts Super compact But beefy Does what it should Firm but enuf give (though this is always a personal thing) As a fitness pro and functional doc for most of my adult life this tool deserves the raving review I bought it with my own money and couldn’t be happier with it. It is sturdy and supportive Doc Recommended 👍

Nice quality
Has some weight to it, nicely made. A slight rubbery feel so it stays put. Great quality!

Cheaper than 2 alpha balls and the material of the GRID STK will last longer than the alpha balls (alpha balls usually last 15-24 months depending on usage frequency). Not too soft but not too firm (lacrosse) neither, good balance.

I've tried many and this one is the most comfortable and universal. It's well worth the premium price.

I was eyeing Therabody Wave Duo, but bought this instead after reading some reviews and realizing that the vibration function is not that helpful for this kind of roller and is not worth paying extra for. TriggerPoint roller is about the same size as Wave Duo, slightly shorter because the balls are closer to each other, but almost the same diameter. The quality is good. The foam is quite firm to apply some good pressure, but also softish to make your contact with roller comfortable. It's pretty useful for massaging lower back, neck and the suboccipitals. I think it's going to last, especially since there's no motor to fail and batteries to die.
