I needed something more flexible for positioning my ring lights when filming with my 4K cameras. After some searching, I decided a tripod ball head would be the simplest and most effective solution. That’s when I came across the UTEBIT Mini Ball Head Tripod Mount with Removable 1/4" Hot Shoe. The product looked solid in the listing, and the positive reviews gave me confidence, so I went for the 2-pack. With Prime delivery, they arrived the very next day—always a bonus. Once connected to my ring lights, I was immediately impressed. The ball heads feel sturdy thanks to their mostly metal construction, and they give me the flexibility I was looking for. Each mount has a 1/4" thread that connects perfectly to my adapters, allowing me to raise and centre my cameras within the ring lights for much better coverage. Despite their compact size (each weighing just over 90 grams), they’re surprisingly robust. The adjustment screws are easy to access, even when mounted, and once locked in place the ball head holds firm. Stability is excellent—even with the weight of my 4K cameras, everything feels secure and steady. For under £8, this 2-pack is fantastic value. These mounts are well-made, reliable, and do exactly what they’re designed to do. If you need more flexibility in your lighting or camera setup, I’d highly recommend them.

Not had the chance to use these properly yet but they feel well made and look great, nice heavy strong metal and easy to use. I had a bit of a test indoors and the size was ok but could do with being a big larger imo great for attaching my phone to my camera so I can record as I’m snapping photos.

Needed a tripod head to connect to a phone holder for flexible angles on a microphone boom arm - essentially to hold my phone at an angle over my desk. Quite simply, it's perfect. Really well made, nice smart colour. Has a 1/4" adaptor to screw onto a standard tripod / desk arm, and then on the head itself, screwing onto standard devices. In terms of grip, it locks perfectly into position - easy to secure. The flexible ball head allows for that finer rotational tweak once you're locked in place. A lot of these adaptors have the challenge of staying in place - this does and you don't need to overly tighten the grip, either.

I am a professional photographer and have countless speedlighte, studio strobes etc with stands to boot BUT sometimes I just want to throw a speedlight onto a small stand to add to the lighting. These do exactly that, in fact I now have them permanently attached to my Rototlights, and give me quick tilt, turn and angle changes with ease.

The are only ok for the most basic of uses and on a light weight load. The issue is that the horizontal pan and the ball joint are controlled by the same lever and as soon as you release to pan, the ball joint flops with whatever is on it. The reverse is true also. The friction grip on the ball joint is such that you have to screw it down very hard to stop the camera (e.g.) flopping. Then there is really no in-between fully locked down and totally loose. I faffed about with them for two long and should have returned them.

Strong and robust, definitely good value for money

Lo uso para orientar micrófono y mini antorchas de luz para vídeo con móvil. Se adapta perfectamente a las zapatas de cámara. Su peso es muy aceptable y llevadero. Su estética y acabado en aluminio es atractiva. Solo es de aluminio la parte roja. La bola y tornillería parece una aleación de metal (hierro). Las piezas negras son de plástico. En general tiene una calidad adecuada para la función que hace, salvo la palomilla negra que sirve para apretar la bola. No creo que se deba apretar con demasiada fuerza porque tengo la sensación de que me voy a quedar con ella en los dedos. El tiempo lo dirá. Por ahora sin problema. Si termina rota volveré a editar el texto. Como recomendación diría que es conveniente aplicar un poco de lubricante a la bola para que gire con más fluidez. Aunque libere los tornillos (palomilla y el pequeño de seguridad) no gira con fluidez,

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Ho acquistato queste mini teste a sfera per due motivi: 1) girare alcune fasi dei miei tutorial e reel; collego l'action cam alla slitta flash della fotocamera sfruttando l'hot shoe. 2) Svitando il piedino sfrutto il foro filettato per montare le fotocamere sul Dolly motorizzato. Sono stabili e facilmente maneggiabili nonostante la dimensione ridotta, sembrano molto robusti e inoltre con la brugola in dotazione si può allentare il perno che, combinato alla levetta fa ruotare la testa anche sull'asse orizzontale, molto utile per orientare la manopola nella posizione più comoda come mostrato nel video. Attenzione a non svitare troppo la vite sulla base altrimenti si smonterà tutto il sistema che potrà comunque essere riassemblato velocemente e facilmente. Considerando il prezzo è un prodotto da 5 stelle, vediamo come si comportano con il tempo ma promettono molto bene!

Ich habe die Utebit Kugelköpfe gekauft, um mehrere kleine Stative damit auszurüsten um das Handy oder einen kleinen Camcorder darauf zu montieren. Dafür sind die Teile hervorragend geeignet, die Ganzmetallkonstruktion ist Solide und lässt sich fest spannen. Die Adapter, um die Kugelköpfe auf einem Blitzschuh zu montieren kommen bei mir nicht zur Verwendung - schlichtweg kein Bedarf dafür. Der Preis ist völlig ok. Nichts zu bemängeln, also klare 5 Sterne.
