Install was easy, came with directions for those not familiar with the process. Seen some negative reviews about the remote wire not shutting off the amp immediately, most vehicles take about a minute to a minute and a half to go to sleep if spliced in correctly, once the vehicle is asleep the amp goes off. This product works as designed and great quality. REMINDER: Whenever the doors are opened the vehicle wakes up and the amp will come on until the vehicle goes back to sleep, so if you’re constantly opening and closing your doors it will slowly drain your battery until you start your vehicle.

I was skeptical to buy this product because of all the mixed reviews but I took the chance anyways and I’m glad I did. I Installed this is my 2018 ram 1500 and everything worked as it should. Good sound output, remote wire cut the amp off as soon as the truck cut off and turned on as soon as the key was turned over. super easy to install. The remote wire is kind of on the shorter side so I just spliced into it before plugging it into the back of the radio. I had zero issues out of it. So if you’re thinking about buying this and you’re iffy because of the negative reviews I would say a lot of them are operator error.

After installing the line converter it worked okay at first after about 2 weeks my amplifier would not turn on. Because there was no signal from the line level converter to the amp anymore. I use the voltmeter to verify. after pulling apart my dash I realized the LED indicator was also off on the line level converter while the ignition was on on the vehicle. I wish they use a better quality line level converter on this kit. I will have to replace the one they provide and hopefully the adapter harness will work for that at least.

Works great so far. Super easy to install. Took me longer to watch a YouTube video on how to take the dash apart to get the radio out than it did to actually do it. Seen some reviews that said it stopped working after a couple weeks. I’ve had mine in for about a week and no problems yet. The remote wire apparently takes some time to shut the amp off, but I’ve just been unplugging it at the amp over night. Bought this to get some use out of some old subs and an old amp I had collecting dust in the garage. Getting ready to upgrade the amp, and probably the subs I the near future.

Works as intended

I was very skeptical about with harness considering it’s 1/2 the cost of every other harness online. When I opened the package I was super surprised of the quality of work that was done on this product. Super easy plug and play with my 2017 ram 2500 tradesman. Works amazingly
