This is the second of these drives I have bought.The first returned speeds of 5.6GB/s read* and 4.9GB/s write*- well over the quoted spec and I was somewhat disappointed to find this second one was consistently one GB/s slower on both reading and writing.That was until I checked in the Aorus SSDUtility and saw that the first was on firmware EGFM11.2, but this second was on EGFM11.1.A quick update sorted that out and now this one's just as fast as the first.So if you're not quite getting the speeds you're expecting check that out.Look on the box for date of manufacture and if it's before August '19 you'll likely have the earlier firmware. Nothing to worry about, just update it and you're good to go.The drives themselves are bomb-proof and very solidly built, encased as they are in several ounces of solid copper.Temperatures are great and I haven't seen anything higher than around 60C even in heavy use, so throttling has not been an issue at all.Windows boots in a few seconds and programs and games experience not even the slightest hesitations when loading or running.
