This is presented with a picture that says 6+ but on the actual box when it arrived it says 8+ Looks like fun but may be a bit too complicated for a 6y.o.

I bought this because my six year old grandson is interested in building robots. We had a great time doing this project together.

Directions were a bit challenging for our 5 year old grandson and proved a little challenging for his parents also but in the end, a great product.

My kid wanted this so bad when he saw it at the store so I ordered it for Christmas. It is a cool idea but not very durable, I can't really recommend it. He used it maybe twice. Of course there was no convincing him of that when he saw it in the store. So don't know how useful my review will be to you if your kid has already decided they want this. But if you are looking on your own, I would say, don't bother.
