This stuff is amazing for Thai Iced Tea! I do not make it the authentic way, at all, but to me It tastes like what I’d get at a good Thai restaurant. I use sweet cream liquid coffee creamer and a ton of ice. I love making boba drinks at home and had given up on finding a Thai tea mix without artificial dyes. Yes I know, fake cream but no dye? We have to choose our battles out here folks. To me, this is the perfect solution. I don’t have to brew anything, it dissolves beautifully in cold water, and, I can control the sugar if I’m feeling sassy. Love it.

This led me to look online where I found some really crazy price gouging! I came across Teakihut Tea powder and had my doubts but decided to give it a whirl. The natives were getting restless around here! I have a funny story to tell about making this stuff too strong because I mixed it in the tea pitcher using the same amount as the bottled stuff. Teakihut is a very fine and HIGHLY concentrated powder. I use a level tea spoon or maybe a little less to make a half gallon. Microwave a cup and a half of water and add tea powder and sugar if you want it sweet and blend well, then fill with cold water and pop it in the fridge. It seems to blend very well that way.
