Simple without extras
I prefer keeping things simple, and this fits that style. The flavor is mild and doesn't feel harsh. It mixes easily and doesn't leave grit behind. I usually drink it plain, and it still tastes fine. It doesn't leave a noticeable smell in the room. I've been using it regularly and haven't felt tired of it. It's been easy to include in my routine without needing sugar, milk, or flavorings. As a routine, I usually mix about half a teaspoon into a cup of warm water and stir for a few seconds until it's fully blended. If I want a lighter cup, I just add more water. It's quick, simple, and works well without changing the taste.

Like it with lemon and honey
I've been using this as a base for my morning tea with lemon and a bit of honey. It has the right depth and doesn't get lost in the mix. Also helps me cut down on coffee since it gives a nice energy boost and a good way to start off my morning. I will try the tea with different ingredients to enhance the taste as well. It also makes really good iced tea. I brew a few bags and chill them overnight, then pour it over ice with a little bit of honey. Super refreshing, and it actually keeps its flavor instead of getting watered down. I even tried mixing it with orange slices and mint one time and it turned out great. All in all, it's a dependable black tea. Not too fancy, not too bland, just right in the middle where you can enjoy it daily without getting bored. If you're looking for something with reliable taste and a little boost, this one's a winner.

Makes amazing Thai Iced Tea!
This stuff is amazing for Thai Iced Tea! I do not make it the authentic way, at all, but to me It tastes like what I’d get at a good Thai restaurant. I use sweet cream liquid coffee creamer and a ton of ice. I love making boba drinks at home and had given up on finding a Thai tea mix without artificial dyes. Yes I know, fake cream but no dye? We have to choose our battles out here folks. To me, this is the perfect solution. I don’t have to brew anything, it dissolves beautifully in cold water, and, I can control the sugar if I’m feeling sassy. Love it.

Very tasty!
So tasty and easy to use. Couldn’t believe how well it dissolved in both hot and cold water.

Instant Tea Review: Fast, Easy, and... Kind of Tastes Like Dirty Water (Unless You Sweeten It)
Let’s talk about this instant tea. First off, it does exactly what it claims to do — it’s instant, and it dissolves perfectly. No clumps, no weird floating bits, just a smooth mix that disappears right into your water like magic. From a convenience standpoint, it’s a win. Now, let’s get to the flavor. If you’re like me and prefer your tea unsweetened, brace yourself. The taste? Honestly, it reminds me of slightly flavored dirty water. There’s a hint of tea in there, sure, but it’s weak and flat. No depth, no richness, just watery sadness in a cup. I wanted to like it plain, but I couldn’t pretend. However, if you plan to add sugar or sweetener, this stuff transforms. A little sweetness goes a long way in bringing out the flavor, and with some sugar, it actually tastes pretty good — smooth, balanced, and way more like actual tea. So here’s the bottom line: For convenience: 10/10 Unsweetened taste: 2/10 Sweetened taste: 7.5/10 Great for people who like their tea sweet and don’t want to wait. But if you drink it plain? Maybe skip it or keep your expectations low.

FAR MORE ECONOMICAL THAN IT LOOKS. TASTES GREAT.
I always used the instant bottled national brands from the grocery store, but for a while there seemed to be a shortage in supply. Our family drinks a lot of iced tea and it was becoming a problem. This led me to look online where I found some really crazy price gouging! I came across Teakihut Tea powder and had my doubts but decided to give it a whirl. The natives were getting restless around here! I have a funny story to tell about making this stuff too strong because I mixed it in the tea pitcher using the same amount as the bottled stuff. Teakihut is a very fine and HIGHLY concentrated powder. I use a level tea spoon or maybe a little less to make a half gallon. Microwave a cup and a half of water and add tea powder and sugar if you want it sweet and blend well, then fill with cold water and pop it in the fridge. It seems to blend very well that way. Using my method makes the small looking package last much longer than you would suspect. No more bottled mix for us. We are SOLD on TEAKIHUT! Try it. If you don't like it, send it to ME!

Tastes closer to real tea than I expected
Instant tea usually has that fake, watered-down taste, but this one surprised me. It has a real black tea flavor, rich but not overpowering. I've compared it side by side with a regular brewed tea bag, and while it's not identical, it's closer than I expected. The convenience makes it worth it. I keep some at work in a small jar, so I don't have to rely on office coffee.
