John Frieda Frizz-Ease Extra Strength 6 Effect Serum, 1.69 Ounce (3 Pack)

I love this stuff it works really well. I have naturally dark brown hair that is dyed a golden blonde. After I get out of the shower and it is damp, not dripping wet but damp, I put 2 or 3 pumps in one side of my hair and 2 or 3 pumps into the other side of my hair and I let it air dry the rest of the way and I get a nice not frizzy looking naturally wavy look and even when I brush it, it still looks good. If I decide to straighten my hair then I do the same thing, let air dry, brush it, then straighten and this stuff really protects your hair and makes is feel very smooth and soft without weighing it down and it feeling heavy. I also use a Frizz Ease heat protecting spray before I straighten with heat as well. This stuff is a bit pricey and it's a small amount that you get but it's worth it to protect your hair and this stuff is the best that I've tried so it doesn't bother me. One bottle last me a couple months using it twice a week, not to bad. I do find myself using more of it every time because of how much I like it and it's easy to do, so if you don't want to go through it as fast try to only use 1 or 2 pumps for each side of your head for short a medium length, and 2 or 3 pumps for medium to long hair. Really long hair down to your butt will most likely need 4 to 5 pumps on each side and will probably be empty in 3 weeks if you used it every other day.

I have not opened these packages yet but they arrived in a timely manner. I have used this serum for years and it is the only thing I have found that will keep my naturally curly hair from frizzing in humid weather.

I have used this product for quite a long time and it no longer became available at the store. I was so excited to see that I could get it on Amazon. When I use it in my hair the curls turn into ringlets instead of a mix of ringlets and wavy hair. The next morning all I do is dip my hands in water and run it through my hair and all the curls return looking fresh and new. One of the other people mentioned that there was a small tube insider an outer tube, but that’s the way the product has always been made. It’s great for keeping the heat and humidity from ruining my hair for making it fuzzy.

Well, the original formula was the best, takes frizz, made hair shiny but remained weightless... thought that was what I was getting. Nope. It's maringa shaminga oil... It doesn't work as well and is greasy to boot, but I am not about to start buying new serums and playing games. John Frieda Dudes, when something works well and people buy it for years, don't eff it up with new and improved. You want us to buy more, instead of changing it, just ask us to buy more. Change is baaaaack. I wash, dry, iron, put this in to hold my hair like it used to, doesn't hold as well and if I use a teeny drop too much, hair looks greasy and I need another wash. Yeesh.

Couldn't live without it! I have been using it for years. Everyone's hair is different and reacts differently to conditioners, and this one is the gem I need to protect my hair, it gives it body and control, not greasy at all. No scent so it doesn't clash with shampoo scents. I have very fine, dry hair and this serum gives my hair an extra layer of strength and fullness, especially when I blow dry my hair. I let my hair air dry till just damp then shape with a round brush type blow dryer. Even if I don't blow dry hair this serum isn't greasy.

I'm very disappointed in my purchase because John Frieda Co chged the extra strength SERUM formula and the bottle on the left in my picture I sent is what now sells on the shelves in local stores and on Amazon (its the new bottle)but this particular store has the picture posted of the older formula on their store on Amazon which is misleading because us loyal customers to FRIZZ EASE are desperately wanting the older formula it has different ingredients and works better on our hair(in my pic is the bottle on the right side) So I don't understand why this store keeps posting a pic of the older formula bottle on their website they need to replace it with the new formula bottle on their website which is in my picture on the left side is the new bottle because this is what they are selling! It's misleading to customers that are ordering and then when we receive the order we are so disappointed when we open the pkg PLEASE PLEASE change your picture in your advertisement on AMAZON!
