Bought for my 4 year old grandson's DS. Some of this game is a little hard for him but my 6 year old grandson can play this game with no problems. So, a win, win!

A good addtion to any collection
This game is a nice addition to any collection of games, for young ages. A good way for your toddler to learn. Arrived in good condition and worked well.

A Little Disappointed
I bought this for my 4 yr old. it is a little complicated especially when it asks her to spell words in a word scramble, but it is a good game for her and I to play together

It is just so horrible; graphics suck
This game is not for any age. It is just so horrible; graphics suck. My 4 year old played not even a minute.

Ugly, difficult, overall pretty terrible...
I was looking for DS games for my 7 year old niece. She will be heading into 2nd grade next year, but over the summer she needs some work on her math and reading skills. I got her Team Umizoomi and this game to start with. I knew this game was not likely to go over well when I tried it and found it difficult myself. The graphics are just plain bad -- blocky and unrefined, rather ugly, and very uninspiring. The instructions are long-winded, yet vague, and completely over the head of my niece -- even I found them confusing. The game world is boring, has no feeling of being fun, dynamic, or interactive, and the games are even worse. They are entirely too challenging without offering any good rewards for the numbing amount of repetition required to pass them. I've been playing video games for 30 years, so I grew up playing games with no text, Atari-level graphics, and lots of repetition; I know that games like that can definitely still be fun! This one, however, misses the mark by a mile. If you are looking for an educational game that a grade-schooler would enjoy, unfortunately I think you need to look elsewhere. Luckily for me, Team Umizoomi was a total hit with her, and with her 5 year old brother, but I still need some more games to give them variety and keep them challenged.
