Excelent quality
I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and performance of this fishing rod since I'm not a professional angler for me is what i need. After using my first 8-foot Medium Heavy (MH) rod, I was so impressed that I ordered another one, plus a 7-foot (M) and my last one 8- foot (L). The build quality, sensitivity, and balance are outstanding. I gave one of the rods to a local guy from the beach since he can't afford one. He later sent me a video fighting a pretty big stingray and said the rod handled the fight really well. Definitely a great value and highly recommended for any none professional angler! I uploaded pictures of the four rods I’ve got. Like I said, I gave one to the local guy. Each fishing trip leaves me more satisfied, I haven’t had any kind of problem.

Great Travel Rod for the Price! Dimensions Included!
Got this rod because I wanted to fish while in Cabo next month and needed something that would fit in my 24” suitcase without spending too much but would do the job. I went with the 8ft spinning f/Mh w’ Fuji guides and must say that I’m pretty shocked and impressed with the quality. It’s well made, super light, and fits in my suitcase perfectly when diagonal using only the SOFT case. Assembled length is actually 96.75” but no biggie. Be sure not to push the pieces all the way in and just make it snug otherwise your can break the rod or make it impossible to take apart. See photo. Great rod for the price and 5 stars for me. Anyways, I mainly wanted to share the actual dimensions with everyone since I was wondering myself and the seller needs to stop saying to just divide the length by 4 because they need top include the section that goes into each end which is 2” for the 8’. Hope these measurements and photos help everyone! Hard Case: 29”, Soft Case: 27”, Rod Section: 26”, Total Length: 95.75”

Updated. To 4 stars, first day of my vacation ruined
Update. I contacted the seller and let them know what happend and they offered to send a free replacement so i will wait to receive the rod and retest it and update the review after Got these poles for a easy travel fishing rod and from the description and reviews thought yea should be a good pole right WRONG first use caught a small 7 inch sheep's head pole snaped right in the middle so okay Kool took the broken piece stuck it back in and could still fish then boom caught a decent sized fish (can't tell you want it was because of the rest of the story) then boom snaps into another 3 pieces yay so had to go and find a replacement pole for the rest of the trip useless and a waste of money

Works great for silvers
This rod worked great on a recent salmon fishing trip to AK. The QC is not immaculate in that the various sections did not fit all the way together but it did not seem to make a difference in the performance. It has plenty of backbone on fish up to 15lbs and casts accurately. The fast action tip is soft enough so you don't pull the lure away from fish. The long handle helped during long fights but it can make casting a little awkward. I landed around 30 fish of various sizes (8-18lbs) and am glad I decided to buy this rod. Not bad for a hundred bones. Looking forward to using it again next year!

Nice rod until you need to use it.
Seemed like a really nice rod when I received it. Then it snapped in half the first time I used it. Didn't take much to break it either.

Top Notch Travel Rod!
This is my go to rod for snook fishing off the beach. I’ve reeled in a 30 inch snook with no problem at all. I paired the 8' rod with a Penn Slammer III 3500 with 20lb braid and 25lb flurocarbine leader. This setup was perfect. The rod casts great, has lots of backbone and a sensitive tip. I even hooked into a 70lb stingray while fishing for mangrove snappers and while the ray spooled my reel and broke the line in less than 3 mins the rod held it's own like a champ. If you are going to the beach and want an affordable travel rod that performs great, buy the 8' 4 piece, you'll love it! I will also mention that I've corresponded with the guys at Goture a few times and they are great. Plus I've had rods that cost 3 times as much snap like twigs. I'll happily recommend these rods to anyone who travels and wants a reliable rod for their trip. - Happy Customer!

Amazing, especially for such a modest price
I now have 3 different sizes of these travel rods, 2 spinning and 1 baitcaster. I've fished them all, and they are beautifully made and excellent for the price. I haven't caught anything yet that really tested their ultimate breaking strength but I'm guessing they'll hold up to anything other than a full blown lunker. I mostly fish the surf and occasionally in lakes and all 3 cast nicely.

Plastic reel seat or else it would be rated a lot higher
I bought this rod for a back-up travel rod for fishing adventures. I was surprised by the solid feel and quality on this rod. Actually a really nice rod for the price. Stout and sensitive. I have the 8 foot mh and no complaints yet.......Update After using the rod for a while the plastic real seat busted. Might work OK for smaller fish but for using for hard fighting fish not a good rod. If it had a metal real seat this would be a five star rod.

I haven't tried it yet. It's light with a comfortable hand grip. Overly excited to use it asap.
