How far out, from the wall, will this mount extend?

Mine will extend approximately 18" from the wall. While I feel that the wall mount is well built enough to be used fully extended with up to a 32" flat screen, it will depend how securely it is mounted to the wall. I recommend at least 2 lag bolts mounted into a stud.

I have an Emerson 32" flatscreen,,,will this mount to that brand? I checked one in a local store and my brand TV wasn't included. Just checking.

Are the screws that mount the TV to the VESA included?

Yes. It comes with everything you will need except a TV.

Will this mount work with a 29" Magnavox as far as the holes lining up? One review stated that I should make sure it would work with my TV.

This mount has plenty of adaptor holes for a wide range of TVs. I do not know what the hole pattern is on your magnavox, but I beleive it will match up for you.
