Coconut Shea Cleansing Cowash

I have used this product consistently for over 5 years now. I have tried other things from time to time and every single time I end up coming back to this because nothing else is as good. It's so much gentler than shampoo but not heavy or greasy. I don't need to use conditioner or styling product with it and my hair comes out great. I am also sensitive to strong smells and this just has a light coconut smell that isn't overpowering and isn't too strong smelling on your hair once it dries. I just hope this product never gets discontinued. And for how good it is you cannot beat the price.

I really like this co wash.. It made my hair feel a little softer and moistured than other co washes I have used in the past. It smells good but doesn't stay in your hair. The price is a little higher than what I might pay, but I would purchase again.

This cowash works the best for me out of the many I have tried. It leaves my hair feeling moisturized but not heavy. My curls spring to life after I use it. I have slightly below-shoulder length hair and tend to use a little less than a handful for my hair. I could probably use a little less, but I have good results with that amount. That does mean that a tub doesn't last me quite as long as I would like, so I will continue playing with the amounts to make the product last as long as possible before repurchasing. I do wish it was in a bottle or maybe had a flip-up part to the tub lid to make it a bit more manageable in the shower.

When I gotten this product, the only thing wrong was the seal wasn’t sealed, it was kinda lifted off and slid right off when I opened it. It was still full and all intact. I absolutely love co-washes and this one has a bit of a looser thickness. I didn’t hate the smell but I sure didn’t love it. It’s not something I would really want my hair to smell like but it’s subtle enough it won’t bother me. I think it’s a pretty good amount for the price. The packaging could be easier to use. Maybe a pump or push down dispenser or something. I feel like I would use too much with the jar. Also, I feel as tho a jar is too much work to open during a shower especially if your in a rush! I do think the quality of the co-wash is nice and spreads nicely so a little can go a long way! I believe it had great impact on my hair but I did use a mask afterwards this time so, I will have to see the next time I wash my hair. All in all, it’s a good product!

This is amazing. I used it for the first time today and oh my gosh. First of all the slip. The slip was immaculate. It had a similar consistency to to the shea moisture infamous Curl smoothie. But slipperier if that makes sense. Anyways I used this to detangle and wash my hair. I feel like my life was changed. Every time after I shampooed even with the best shampoos out there. My hair always felt like straw afterwards and got tangled after. This is the first time that my hair has felt clean after washing . I did have a lot of buildup and oil in my hair from my previous style. It also didn’t irritate my scalp, and I needed that because my scalp has been particularly sensitive lately. Which is why I chose this brand and their natural ingredients. I got it within a day with prime. It’s also a pretty big jar that should last for a while. Initially I scared that I was going to end up using Half the jar in one use to be able to detangle my 30inch 3b hair. But I barely made a dent. It’s also worth noting that my hair, even though it’s healthy also is prone to dryness and frizziness. It’s worth a shot honestly. Might even get this on the subscribe and save once I finish.

This is the best detangler ever. I got my 4c hair out of mini box braids and did not comb out as I unbraided (IYKYK). Wet hair in shower, generously applied the cowash and about a minute later, I was able to comb it with a wide tooth comb. With no pain and very few tangles. I’m a believer.

This was my first time using this cowash - and I wish I'd found it sooner! It is so moisturizing from the instant it hits your hair. I'm natural with hip-length, 3c/4a low-porosity hair. I use this after detangling and my hair loves it. Using this after detangling literally turned my hair to butter. I wanted to know if it could be used as a deep conditioner, it did so well. And, a little went a long way. For cowash products in pots, my hair can sometimes use 1/2 to a full container. With this, it feels like I barely made a dent. There's plenty left over. The only thing I will say is that it's not as heavily scented as some other natural hair products. So, the smell may feel a little less intense than what you're used to. But, don't get me wrong - it still smells wonderful. This will be my new go-to cowash - period.

This product is amazing it really does clean your hair. I was using Hair story co wash and my hair started falling out. Now I found this co wash and it is excellent and my hair is starting to grow back! I highly recommend. My hair feels nice and healthy and easy to brush out after the shower. This product is the best co wash!

I know this is not the intended use for this product, but I had more than one person tell me that it works great for beards. I now use it daily in the shower (with the exception of the one day a week I do a deep cleanse and condition), and so far, it is working great.

I would give this 5 stars, but it is meant for very curly hair and is not the best 'co wash'. As a conditioner, it has a wonderful scent, a little goes a long way because too much will cause buildup. I have a slight wave, but this made my hair have a soft curl.
