PowerCrush Multi-Function Blender with 6-Cup Glass Jar, 4 Speed Settings, Silver

I've had this blender for 2 months now. I've been able to make soup, sauce, and smoothies easily. It is very solid and feels good quality. Easy to use, easy to clean.

This blender feels to me like the tank blenders of old. Thick glass, heavy motor, tight seal on the top. The blender also seats well in the base for a very stable feel. The choices of blender speeds is adequate to my needs but some folks may need more speed options. The jar itself is well designed and all the parts fit together tightly. I've had no problems running all the jar parts, including the lid, through the dishwasher. I think my only complaint is that the surface of the lid is oddly soft and scratches VERY easily.

Worth the money, definitely works great for my daily smoothies with frozen fruit. Not to load at all and I haven’t burned out the motor which I have had problems with other blenders.

It works well enough for basic blending. I feel the price is accurate for what you get. If you are looking for fancy, fast, super blended results, maybe look at higher priced blenders with higher power rating. Capacity and power are exactly what I need. Blade sharpness is decent. You do have to take the blades out to clean after each use, as there is a small gap that food gets into and doesn't just rinse out.

My wife drinks Slim Fast meal substitutes. Just out of curiosity, I poured one into the blender and pressed the button for about half a minute. I wish all could see the expression when she started drinking it. Now she's spoiled and I will need to use it ever more. The advantage, the clean function does work very good. Thirty seconds after a little water and detergent, it was clean as new, all the way to the top. If I had any complaints, the chord could be a couple of feet longer. My guess is that the short chord was a lawyer thing.

This works really well! LOVE the glass pitcher. The lid fits very well. It will freeze up with too much frozen fruit or ice so I heat any liquid before adding it to the blender and it doesn’t freeze up. Smoothie still comes out well blended, thick, and cold. I’ve used it every day since it arrived and have no complaints. Also EASY to clean!!! My last blender had a separate rubber ring and realigning it after cleaning was a pain. This has the blade with rubber attached, the large plastic ring, and the pitcher. It could not be easier for cleaning!!

Had this for less than a year and then had to throw out. Never blended that well - the base and blade didn’t sync well (always had to readjust to try and get the blade to work properly). The glass formed a crack after 6 months (we could still use it but looked like it would leak at some point). I’ll be looking for a different blender.

I am very happy with this blender. It makes all my smoothies, and even has the ice chopping setting. I love how it has the glass container, and not the cheap plastic. The parts are easy to disassemble to wash. I love the feature of the little plastic part in the lid you lift up to pour your smoothies, and it clicks back securely. I highly recommend this blender.

Primarily bought it to replace an old blender that had been leaking and wasn't blending very well because of a relatively low powered motor, and it works decently enough for that purpose. However, there are some design components that are lacking: There's no secondary seal like a rubber crush washer between the base of the pitcher and the pitcher bottom that connects into the motorized base. It only actually has two speeds; "lo" and "hi", with the two other buttons being just pulse forms of those buttons (so they don't lock when pushed down, good for when you are trying to control exact blending time). The lid seals into the pitcher decently enough, but the flip-top lids let a lot of air in even when closed because they weren't manufactured with much precision, and the back one is also pretty much useless due to its design; it's meant to be where you pour liquid in when the blender is still going, but it's super narrow and doesn't properly slope into the opening, so you end up with a lot of slop unless you use a funnel, and that just ends up defeating the purpose of the hole in the first place. You're honestly better off adding liquid from the front flap, since it's designed so that when you finish pouring from it, you can put the blender back upright and what's in it will backflow out of the cupole; even better is to just take off the lid if you need to add liquid or pour out of the blender, really. Lastly, the blender base is a solid plastic bit that doesn't fit right against the glass, so if anything drips down it gets down under the plastic and can sit there where you can't see it until you go to pour with it and it then spills it all over. All these criticisms are relatively minor, though, compared to its main function, which is why I still give it an overall rating of 4/5.
