But this 1, not cheap version. Don't make mistake I did.
Replaced cheaper pushase of this with this one made by Easyguard. As the cheaper non branded failed after a month. Old / 1st one ( non branded) caused me to get stranded. Replaced with this Easyguard reader which is built much better & functions correctly. This 1 does not need 2nd DC 12v connection. Very happy.

Perfect pairing with EasyGuard EC002PP
I was a bit hesitant going with this one versus the powered version BM001, but works perfectly with EasyGuard EC002PP PKE system. Absolutely no issues. Works as advertised. Both installed in 2013 Wrangler JK.

Decent system for its price. Can't complain.

Works brilliantly for my Jeep wrangler :)
This made the install easier so I didn't have to mess w/ the factory immobilizer ring in my steering column.
