No programming required
All I had to do was put the batteries in. No programming required. Sharp Aquos TV and the remote works perfectly. Can't beat the price either.

Replaced original 2009 Sharp Aquos remote
Replaced my original remote to my 2009 Sharp aquos tv. Popped in batteries and the new one worked just like the original one, no special steps required for set up. Delivery was quick and product worked as promised. Thank you!

Works even on an older tv (that well predates smart tv’s). Does not come with instructions for pairing, but it worked right out of the packaging without needing to pair to the tv.

Five stars for the price and purpose. I bought this Sony Aquos compatible remote to replace the original remote to my ancient but wonderful TV of 18 years (no joke and still an amazing TV) I only needed it for power ON/OFF and volume on/off as the TV is too old for the flex box to control outside of flex. The original remote took too long to respond to ON/OFF requests I was worried at first - light weight and no programming instructions. None needed - batteries in, instantly controlled the 2007 TV, well done.
