Portable and easy to use
Absolutely love our new air cooler. I move it around the flat, literally taking it with me to every room. It is a great solution if you enjoy cool air and your partner does not like when it's cold in the room. We used to have a big air conditioner, but occasionally would catch a cold from it. This one gets the temperature just right to make it cooler but not freezing. I like its design cause it looks really modern and its blue lighting makes it even more charming. But my fav feature is that it's portable. Its definitely the best thing for an air cooler. Happy about the purchase and would recommend it to others.

Useless
Useless. Worked well for a week or so and now, only when it choses to - mind of its own - but the light doesn't work. What a waste of money.

Pretty Good for what it is
The technology could not be simpler you fill the water and a highly absorbent filter absorbs it and then a small very quiet fan blows air through the filter. On a particularly hot day I tend to reduce the amount of cold water I put in the device at any one time and instead add some ice cubes, which is enough to last a couple of hours at a time. It's not essential but does make a slight difference. Now if you are expecting this to cool down a whole room forget it - it's a fraction of the price of a fully installed air conditioning system for a reason. There's no refrigerant, compressor, condenser, inverter, evaporator, holes in walls, a dedicated power supply, internal and external units, a team of installers or electricity costs that will make your eyes water. Instead the Evapolar is simply a 9w fan that runs off USB that pushes air through water and delivers cool air onto your body - cool enough for comfort whilst working from home. Mine is sat on my desk just in front of me on fan setting 2. Its very quiet and nobody notices when i'm on a conference call - except me as I'm not overheating. I also own a desk fan but that just swirls the hot air around whereas the Evapolar genuinely cools me. Furthermore, I have sensed zero humidity in the room as the water evaporates - I suspect a hot cup of tea will generate significantly more humidity in the air. I should also point out that I am fortunate enough to have air conditioning in some areas of my home and was considering having it fitted in my office. However, the fact that the Evapolar can keep me cool at my desk by providing a focused beam of cool air is good enough for me. Just to add - water and electricity don't mix so the trick is to fill the water when the device is not connected. Filling the water could not be easier and spillage would take some doing but I did manage it whilst picking up a phone call. I just let the components dry out before switching it on.

Excellent Small Device
Good small machine for cooling down your personal bubble. Living in an apartment with huge floor to ceiling windows, it easily reaches 30 degrees in here. My computer pumping out heat doesn’t help either. This machine is excellent at cooling down my desk area! My desk area is a much better temperature (it doesn’t get super cool but it hasn’t definitely cooled it down) it has satisfied my needs anyway. It’s not going to cool down a whole room, or more than a desk area. It’s just good for your own personal space. I got it on offer for £50 and find it well worth the money, not sure if it’s worth £100.

Please do change USB cable
Evapolar is a good portable air cooler, however, the USB C cable is very poor and burnt. Please consider buying another USB cable (one for smartphone charging for instance) the cable nearly burn all the product. In the other hand, the product is quite good and chill a small place like a desk. It is also quite good to use while sleeping as the first 2 speed are very quiet. 3rd speed is okay and 4th is a bit loud but nothing really problematic. The thickness of the product is good too, you can easily put it on your desk (even with 3 monitors) The blue light is a gadget for me but can be pleasant ass an ambient light near your bed.

Alomst too good. Worth buying if you don't like the heat indoors.
I purchased the evaCHILL to combat the current high temps both day and night. The product arrived quickly after ordering, was easy to set up and works as expected. I did find it a bit too cold at times, but this was with the device placed not that far away from me. If you position it in the right place and use the right fan speed setting (depending on the current conditions), you can get a really nice, refreshing breeze on you. The blue lighting is a nice touch also, especially being able to turn that on and off independently from the fan itself. I would recommend this to somebody who needs cooling down in hot temperatures.

Keep Cool in Silence
£100 for a clever fan seems like a lot of money but this little thing is worth it. Setting up is easy. Plug in a USB cable, fill up with water and you're done. It took me a while to work out how to turn on the glowing light but after that it's simple to use. The lowest setting really is whisper quiet but produces a noticeable breeze of cold air. The strongest setting is a bit quieter than most fans but blasts out cold air to make up for the noise. Don't expect this thing to cool an entire room. It's for a work area, or maybe a bed space - no more than that. But it does the job really well. I bought this during the UK heatwave in 2020 and it made the difference between sweltering and comfort.

Mould growing & bad smell after 1 month
I purchased this one month ago and it worked well for the first month. However, a bad smell started to develop and when I opened it I found the back of the cartridge was covered in mould. I specifically purchased this cooler because it makes claims about this problem which ended up not being true. I expected to replace the cartridges periodically but at > £30 per cartridge, replacing them every month is not practical so I have given up on this device and am left with an expensive bit of e-waste. I contacted their support who were friendly but were more focused on denying the problem than helping me.
