I read a ton of reviews and felt good about buying this and wasn't disappointed. Box was damaged in shipping but it was packed well with an inner box so everything was safe. Is it the same as an $800 all wood dresser? No but that's not what I expected or paid for. Better than the cheaper prepac stuff I've seen in the stores and passed on. Directions were straightforward. Took 1.5-2 hrs with my 3 and 5 year old "helping". Only issue I had was that the two "J" letter screws that go in the center for support were a bit long and I overdid it causing the tips to poke through the sides. A little paint fixed it up so you can't really tell and it is for a kid so not a big deal. Everything seems quite sturdy and solid, drawers are good for clothes but don't fill with heavy books or anything like that. I liked that the drawer bottoms have support bars running from front to back and that everything looks clean inside and out (faux wood finish inside so it looks fresh rather than nice on the outside and yucky on the inside). I'm going to cover this in lego-themed vinyl decals and contact paper to make it fun and flexible as in changeable for when he gets older. Doing the same to a similar one for my daughter in Ariel when it arrives later in the week. I'm impressed and feel it is a good value for the price and expect it to last a good many years and experience a variety of decorations in its lifetime!

update 6/28/16- Dresser is still holding up just fine. My only complaint is that one of the knobs keeps coming off and I have to screw it back on. I could probably add some glue to it when I replace it, but keep forgetting to pick some up! Original Review: This was purchased to update my daughters room and I am quite happy with how it turned out. In a nutshell~ 1. Assembly wasn't too bad. I enlisted the help of a friend, as I am not great at putting furniture together, and he had it done in about 2 hours. It took about as long as I had expected, but he wasn't frustrated at all. 2. With the exception of the drawer bottoms, the material looks and feels very durable. I put some wood glue in the places where the drawer bottoms slide in just to give it some extra stability. 3. It looks nice. Other reviewers received damaged items and I can say that I did not. Not so much as a scuff mark. I did find this exact same item at the exact same price through another online, big name retailer. They had an additional handling fee of $30 and a shipping charge. There was no handling fee and shipping was free with Prime. Just FYI if you are shopping around. Overall this turned into a great addition for my girl's room and I am happy I got it. * This is an initial review. Will update on durability as appropriate.

I purchased this dresser for my girls because this matches the stork craft bunk beds they have. The beds were high quality so I hoped I would get the same with this dresser. I was right! Everything was boxed up well and nothing came damaged. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The assembly was pretty straightforward and simple. The only complaint I have is that attaching the rails to the sides was a little difficult. I usually use my own allen wrenches for hex bolts but mine wouldn’t fit because the bolt head was recessed into the rail. So I had to use the wrench provided. This is really no big deal. The wrench works fine. I was able to assemble everything in about 2 hours. I could have done it faster but I didn’t use a drill to tighten screws. I usually don’t because I don’t want to risk stripping something out. Once assembled, it’s clear this dresser will last. It’s extremely sturdy. It feels like a dresser you would buy at a furniture store. And it looks great too! I would definitely recommend this dresser to anyone.

When we got this dresser, we had just moved to a house (I waited to buy furniture for my daughter because she didn’t have a room until we moved). As soon as she started sitting up in her bassinet I knew it was time to upgrade her I quick hopes online and ordered her the Davinci Charlie 4-in1 crib. I didn’t like the matching dresser though so I kept looking. I found this. BEST PURCHASE EVER. My daughter has a tiny room so I knew I had to take her dresser taller, not longer. Her dresser reaches perfectly just under her window (it’s a short window sliding window if that helps). It came fast and while my husband was at work. Me being impatient, put it together myself and was just finishing up by the time he came home. It is beautiful and it is sturdy! Much better quality than the dresser we got my son when he was a newborn (and that one costs more with only three drawers). I love that the top drawer arches just like her headboard. I am currently debating on upgrading her to the full size of her bed (she’s three now). I just love that this dresser will grow with her over time (more than enough extra space for clothes, I currently use the bottom two drawers for all the blankets she’s accrued the last three years, the drawers are so deep we don’t need the extra ones just yet!

So this is a good product for the price. It is solid wood, it is sturdy but check your items count. We were missing one of the bigger dowels (little wooden pieces that go in the holes). It caused a slight sag in the top part above the top door. Anyways, the door closes and opens but with scraping. I'll have to sand it down to get it even and smooth then repaint. Not a big deal though. I was looking for a dresser for our child that they could destroy over time. This one is sturdy, it will work. Some write these reviews to critique every little flaw but i could care less. Just wished i had that dowel, other than that its a good dresser. Their is some paint defects in it but like i said. Your little girly or boy is gonna destroy it over time. Good dresser to me. Worth the buy and price due to solid wood. The whole thing is solid wood except the slats in between that make up the bottom of the dresser drawer but it comes with a brace for the middle so it can support weight. Hope this review helped!!

Horrible don’t buy . First order never even showed up . I got a refund so I bought again and THIS is what showed up . It’s DIRTY, paint chipped all over. I cannot even get it out all the dirt marks with a white eraser. Screw holes were missing and uneven and needed to drill new ones . Drawers messed up . Seller customer service was horrible - they said maybe I would get replacement parts in 4-5 weeks if I filled out this lengthy form with pictures and they gave me attitude . Amazon won’t give me a full refund or even a decent partial refund , probably because they had to refund the first time it never got to me . This thing is impossible to return and I had to have someone put it together for me and it took almost 2 hours because half the drill holes were either missing or not aligned (see picture ). Trust me that you don’t want this in your babies nursery . Don’t even buy from Storkcraft. It’s not worth the extra money that you think you are saving . So disappointed!

We recently moved to a new house and wanted to replace some dressers. We shopped in town, and could not find anything for less than $350! Anything priced under $600 was absolute junk - flimsy, drawers came off the rollers, lightweight. It was awful. I saw this dresser online and it appeared to get reasonably good reviews and it was a great price so we took a chance. I'm so glad we did! The dresser is sturdy and put together with actual screws so it will not be falling apart here in the next 10 years. It is heavy, sturdy, the drawers roll smoothly and they come out pretty much all the way. Some dressers have those drawers that only open up half way, and you have to duck your head to see what's in there. Not this dresser. The box it arrived in was HEAVY. We took all the pieces out of the box and brought them upstairs before assembling this dresser. Nothing was damaged. The dresser is fairly tall and the drawers themselves are quite large. We loved it so much that we ordered a second one and are debating a third if we can decide on the color. Granted - you do have to put this dresser together, but we had no problems putting this together. The directions were clear. The pieces were all there. I don't think you can get a better quality dresser at this price point. Highly recommend!

The Allen Wrench on the first 8 or so bolts was horse crap... ... saying it nicely .. one of my drawer slides pre installed in the dresser wall was 1/2 “ off on the back side so made my drawer gaps off.. the pin mark was there... who ever pre installed the slide just didn’t do his job correctly .. after 10 min of diagnosis was easy to fix... other then that let me start this review .. This dresser is 2nd to none. solid heavy duty and was able to put together in an hr with a battery powered impact gun.. it’s nice and tall and perfect for my wife clothes... drawers are not to deep so not meant for men of men. Was shipped double box surrounded with foam, wrapped In Foam wrapping paper no way in hell even if u drop this bad boy will it arrived damaged . If I ever buy another dresser I’m buying this guy over and over again.. so I hope u guys send me a discount voucher for my next dresser I’m credit card ready .
