i love the smell of this detergent. We had a hard time finding non toxic detergent that still had a pleasant smell and actually cleaned our clothes. The detergent is very thick. I've used some that seemed more like a bottle of water. The container is very sturdy and surprisingly larger than I expected. I have loved using this detergent.

EDIT 2/19/20: I’ve been using this detergent for about 7 months now, and while I still love the way it smells, I changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 because of the following: The last 3 times I’ve received it, the outside of the bottle and box is COVERED in soap from the bottle leaking/ the lid not being on tight. Secondly, and probably more importantly, the last 2 to 3 times, I’ve noticed that the soap towards the last 1/4 of the bottle is no longer saponified. I thought maybe I just got a bad bottle but then the following couple of bottles have been the same. I have also noticed that the last few months/bottles (we use about a bottle/month) I have had to either re-wash loads or use baking soda so that our clothes come out clean— not sure of this is related to unsaponified portion or not. All that to say, I wish they would do some QC/QA to make sure their customers are getting what they should be, because I truly loved this product the first 4-5 months I used it. Absolutely love this detergent! The scent is wonderful without being overwhelming and I love that it is backed the EWG. It cleans well, although I’ve found I tend to use a little more than what is suggested. Overall a great product.

I needed to find specific laundry detergent and softener for my Samsung bespoke all in one washer dryer. This works very well and smells wonderful. I’ve recommended it to others and they also love the scent.
