Update* 10 May 2020 So the company saw my review, and decided to send me an entire kit free of charge!! For the dud, they sent me a WHOLE freaking kit. I was excited to get it, not b.c it has a new joystick, but because the company read my review and cared enough about its product to want to make it right. Buy your Drift repair kit from this company!!! They are worth your monies!! Original* So I have 2 sets of controllers and both had drift. I bought two packs of these to fix both. Installed 1 set, all was perfect, installed left Joycon on second set perfect. Installed right Joycon on the second set .. it won't center. So I calibrated again and again. Still won't center nor will it hit the calibration line on the bottom left. It is like the joystick is stuck slightly forward and to the right. The 3 that work are awesome. The Tweezers were solid metal and great quality. The pry tools were of great quality. The screwdrivers SUCKED bad. They stripped themselves into points on the first controller. Thankfully I have my own set of drivers I used instead. I would love for the company to send me a replacement single joystick for that one controller ... just a thought :-) .. so I can give a full 5 stars. All in all, do not hesitate to buy this one. I think I just got a bad joystick, it happens.

Included everything expected, and even had a card with good URLs to tutorials and a heads up to reboot the Switch between replacements if doing both R and L. Definitely watch the tutorial until you're comfortable, and I'd recommend working on a plain towel for a surface in case you drop a screw — they're very small and can scatter. In my case when I dropped one on the rug, I grabbed a refrigerator magnet and ran it over the rug until I felt the screw latch on, but it could roll under something and be hard to retrieve very easily. The new stick was a little stiff at the beginning but it works great. I've heard these can be hit or miss, so don't be discouraged if one doesn't work. It's a weird, fiddly little thing.

(Attached pics show the tools after being used) Basically this product worked just as intended, both of my joycons were drifting for more than a year, Nintendo is fixing that for free but it isn't currently available in my country (Mexico, cause LATAMEL just makes a lot of excuses even when Nintendo made it official). So tired of that I decided to buy this and I'm not dissapointed. I recommend to see tutorials first and know what to do overall, since left and right joycon are build totally different! it was harder for me to reeplace the right joystick than the left one (I ended up desoldering the R button by accident). I know this company offers tutorials, even a small business card within the kit, but to be honest I didn't see them haha. I've opened and fixed controls a lot of times before, so I have other screw drivers, and I must tell that the ones in this kit are really comfortable and easy to use, to the point I didn't have to use the reeplace screws that come with this kit since the default ones in the joycons were taken out smoothly and without problem. The tools and pieces are well made overall, and it was a nice touch that their joysticks are wired green instead of blue (like default) so no confusions about what joystick had to be reeplaced (Attached pic shows the default joycon joysticks). Another thing to keep in mind is that after reeplacing the joysticks it's necessary to recalibrate them in order for them to detect correctly the dead zones and the neutral position. That's done in the switch configuration system, once done the joycons work just perfectly fine. In conclusion I would recommend buying this kit, it's nice for a "do it yourself" repair, everything arrived just as promised and within the delivering time, I waited a week to make this review and even when it's not a long time I've had no issues with my joycons at all, tho I only use them when I use the switch in portable mode.

So my joycon started to do the dreadful drift. It was small at first. Easy to ignore it but soon it got worst. After doing everything I can to fix it. I went ahead and got the kit. I wanted to get the kit first and try my luck before going out to buy a new one. After slowly opening it and removing the old joystick. I installed one of the new ones. And well ... It was bad. 1 of the two also had the drift, but it was really bad. So then I had to reopen it again and remove it and I tried my luck with the second joystick the kit came with. and Luckily, it work. No drift. I was worried that both new joystick wouldnt work, but good thing that one of the two worked. So would I recommend this kit, yes. Just take it slow and test out everything before putting back in all the screws. Sadly I know that somewhere in the future I will have to go out and buy a new joy stick if the new one starts to drift again or worst, the other joycon. Since the first one from the kit doesn't work. It's still worth the money to have the kit.
