CADBURY Milk Chocolate with Caramel Center Eggs Candy, Bulk Easter, 1.2 oz Packs (48 Count)

Delicious little treats for the candy stash. My brother and I craved extras just after Easter, so we bought and shared this. They arrived in excellent shape: not melted, nothing crushed, and tasted fresh as any Easter candy a few weeks after Easter. Only "flaws" were minor holes in the foil around a few of them, but that didn't cause any issues with the candy. I even still have one a few months later (only possible because I keep them out of my line of sight, lol).

I usually only order these at Easter but after we finished the box this year I decided to treat my family to another box. It's hot out and I did have my reservations about ordering because of that. Surprisingly they were shipped with 2 ice packs to keep them cold on their journey! So thoughtful! The only downside was the wet cold created a massive sticky mess, lmao! The chocolates occasionally will have a little dot of caramel on the outside of the wrapper. That all got wet, omg, the mess, lmao. So I thought I'd use cold water and wash the outside of the wrapper. Lmao, that was an even bigger mistake. Because after wiping down the water from the outside, there now is a bigger sticky mess everywhere, the water did nothing unfortunately. So we just carefully unwrap them and you have to wash your fingers after each one. Oh well, the inside is untouched. I'll wait until the heat is gone or until Easter again before ordering lol. Great price though for the amount you get.

Individually wrapped Cadbury caramel filled chocolate eggs are a delight. Nice thick yet bitable milk chocolate shell gains entry to a soft caramel center. The caramel fills the shell's cavity providing a portion with every bite. They come in a plastic bag not the box pictured but that's okay, less overall trash. Sent in larger package as part of grandkids Spring gift box. Always a hit, even when they are teens.

When recieved I was so happy and opened the package. Caramel lined everything in the bag they where in and when I got past that all the chocolate and caramel within tasted stale and old. Tried to see if there was a return or refund option to no joy. I look forward to Cadbury eggs every spring and was not able to get any this year due to the pandemic. So I spent from what little I have saved up to splurge on this and was left with nothing but disappointment. Not saying this ruined my 2020 springby any means, that job was already done. But this definitely ruined my day. It's very rare that something can cause me to go from such joy to such disappointment. It's like you sold an impoverished hospitalized kid mint icecream on his birthday and then he found out it was wasabi and then refused to give him a refund.

Fast shipping and good quality in a large plastic bag. Ice pack and insulated outer bag to keep 'em cool. Not stale at all. Happy customer!

No way to put it, these are delicious. Irresistable. Creamy caramel encased in a milk chocolate egg. My first order came in a box packed within a cushioned box. No problem at all. My most recent order was the candy in a plastic bag sent in a paper envelope. What I received was many crushed or broken candies inside a plastic bag filled with gooey caramel mess. Not a pretty sight. I had half a mind to return, but cleaned up the candies which should not have been necessary if shipped as my first order was. They're still delicious, but the mess could have been avoided with proper packing. Might be best to only order during cool/cold weather to avoid melting, mess issues. Note to seller... these are fragile candies, not bowling balls, pack better!
