- Dental Hygiene Chews for Small Dogs, Oral Care with Delmopinol, Vanilla Flavor, 14 Count

I started using these dental chews about a year ago at my vet’s recommendation. I was previously using a cheaper brand, but I don’t think they did much. These dental chews actually work. My older dog (7) was having some minor dental concerns creep up, but as of now my vet says his teeth are in excellent shape for his age. Using the chews helped to clean his teeth! Both of my dogs absolutely love these chews, I don’t know what the flavor is but they looove the taste! I don’t love that each chew is individually wrapped in plastic but I can get over it for my dog’s happiness and dental health. Also, I have noticed that their poo sometimes has a green tinge to it now which I have to assume is from the chews - but since they show no signs of stomach issues or other upset, and the vet says they’re healthy, I am not worried about it. The chews are a light green color, firm but chewy texture (not a plastic-y type of texture like some other brands). Great product!

This product works. Recommended by our vet, it has kept our miniature schnauzer's teeth measurably cleaner than the enzyme powder we were feeding him but now stopped. He loves these things and it saved us at least 6 months between expensive cleanings. The only downside is that they turn his poop bright green.

Have been using these for years. Feel that they help with breath and hope that they work for tartar (but no evidence of that).

My dogs love these. We have a German shepherd who is so picky but loves these, we also have an 11 year old multi poo and a mixed corgi dachshund who is 7 months old. They all love them. They also make their breath smell so nice and immediately after they started eating these their breath smelt so much better.

Oravet is the only dental treat that doesn't give my dog any digestive problems and was recommended to us by our vet. Our dog used to get nausea and would throw up dental treats from other well-known brands because he couldn't digest it for some reason. We tried many times with other brands and would get the same reaction from our dog. Since switching to Oravet, it's tasty, easy to digest, and keeps his teeth healthy. He always looks forward to his daily Oravet.

One of my dogs has hereditary bad teeth and we were trying to find something to help preserve them as best possible and reduce bad breath. We've tried numerous treats, chew toys, and a liquid we added to her water, all meant to help with these issues. Nothing helped. We tried brushing her teeth and she will only go as far as letting us wipe the outside of her teeth with finger swabs. Our dentist recommended these and THEY ACTUALLY WORK! It's a bit pricey because we give them to both of our dogs daily now, but worth it!

These chews definitely help reduce plaque and buildup on my dog’s teeth — they do what they claim in that sense. However, I’m giving them three stars because of the ingredients. My 15 lb dog’s stool would turn the same bright color as the treat, which is pretty alarming. It makes me question why a product meant to support oral health contains so many artificial dyes. It feels counterproductive to care for your dog’s teeth while introducing unnecessary additives that might harm their health in other ways
